How many calories do i need a day!
Question: How many calories do i need a day
i dont think im eating enough!.!.!.
my normal routine goes like this:
2-3 hours of dance practice daily (salsa dancing)
2-3 hours of surfing daily
2-3 miles of running daily
30 minuets of yoga daily
1 hour on the stair master three times a week
1 hour of weight training three times a week (20 pounds weights)
im 18 years old
im 5'O and weigh 120 lbs just in case you need to know
and most of my weight in muscle
how many calories should i be eating a day to MANTAIN my current weight!? i eat about 1400 - 1500 calories daily now

You must determine your Basal Metabolism Rate (BMR)!. BMR is Based on your age, weight, muscle mass!. Then you muss determine the calories burned by your daily activity!. There are resources on the web that can assist you in determining your BMR and for calculating the calories burned doing your daily activities!. Adding that to your BMR will determine how many calories you need a day!.
Based on the information provided, you are not taking in nearly enough calories!.
Find one of those online resources and calculate it out!. When you find that "maintain level", you will have more energy and get stronger and more fit!

woahhh, you need wayyyy more!. the average person needs 2,000 a day, and thats with moderate exercise!. you exercise heavily! you need 3,000 or so maybe even 3,200!. ask your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
With all that working out, I would suggest more calories; maybe 2000-2500!. And especially if your weight is all muscle, since muscle takes in way more calories than fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
google search "BMI" or "BMR " and enter your gender, height , weight etc and they can give you a healthy estimate!. My doctor usually reccomends twice the ammount the say!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
