How long should I walk for?!


Question: How long should I walk for!?
When I stay in at home!. It's unhealthy, now that I've realized!. I need to lose some pounds, And I want to motivate more since it's the summer holidays!. How long should I go for a walk for everyday!? And what breakfasts should I have in the morning to motivate me!? 15 years old!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I do a very brisk walk every day at least 30 minutes I am sure you could probably jog for that long, but if your not used to it take it slowly and build up to jogging for the whole time!. You will be amazed how quickly you will lose the extra pounds!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

20 minutes every day minimum!. You can up this to 30 to be on sth safe side!.

Change your route or places you walk to not get bored!. 20 mins a day is the government stated minimum to be healthy!.

Breakfast is very important, it should combine a protein such as milk, eggs, cheese or nuts for example, with a carbohydrate such as bread, toast, cereal, porridge oats or fruit!. You should aim for around 300 calories for a sucessful breakfast and eat this within 45 minutes of getting out of bed/wakeing up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

however long you feel comfortable walking is good!. whatever exercise you can get is good for you!. but i walk by miles so hours!. it takes me and my mom about 4!.5 miles in about 2 hours!. it makes me feel healthier :]!. just start out slow, if you need to stop sooner, do!. dont push yourself too hard!. your body has limitations!. maybe, walk until you get a stomach cramp!. or walk until lunch time, whatever you want!. dont let anyone be a jerk and call you lazy, because how active you are is your choice even though you should be getting more exercise than most average americans, which is sad!. so enjoy your exercise and dont push it :] enjoy and good luck!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have a HRM watch which tells me how many calories I burn!. I was surprised that by power walking 50 minutes (with a few hills) I burn 400 - 500 calories - nearly as much as I do at the gym!.
So if you aim to walk between 3/4hr to 1hr a day quite fast then this will help you lose weight and tone you thighs!.
For breakfast you should go for healthy cereal like porridge, muesli, weetabix, shredded wheat - anything thats wholegrain and not got a ton of sugar added!. Me I go for home-made muesli usually with lots of oats!.

I recently quit smoking and drinking and decided
on a healthier life so I started walking

first I started with a walk to the shop
then a walk around the block
then a walk into town
then a walk out to the country and back

start with whats comfortable for you it doesnt matter if its just
down as far as your local store

gradually build it up and up

Thats what I did and it was a natural progression

you should have milk and waffles in the morning,,something filling becasue it's the most important meal of the day and it gets your body started!.!.!.i think 30 mins of walking is good everyday!.!. make sure you eat healthy and eat every 2 to 3 hrs, this way your body can burn the fat faster!.!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

A loaded fiber cereal, like mini wheats or oatmeal!.

You should walk for probably an hour!. But if you want something to eat for snack, eat some popcorn, a popsicle, or a granola bar!. Or even fruits and veggies!
