Question: I am really skinny and i need to put on weight!.
I am really skinny and i want to know the best way to put on weight!. My arms and waist are really thin in particular and i want them to look healthy!. Also my two backbones stick out when i stand up straight, how do i prevent this from happening!? please help me find a way to me look heathier!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First things first!.!.!.STOP EATING RUBBISH
you have got to start balancing your diet between fats (found in biscuits, cake, chips etc), protein (found in meat,eggs, rice, nuts etc) and carbohydrates ( found in pasta, fruit/veg, bread etc)!.

then to use these food properly and to make sure you done just get fat work out, go swimming and start building some muscle and for toning go running!. this will tone your core muscle and build up your leg muscles!.

if you don't want to join a gym get a set of weights or even two bags of sugar and try my daily workout!.

15 sit-ups
30 squats (with the weights on your shoulders)
15 press-ups
15 sit-ups
30 squats (with the weights on your shoulders)
15 bicep curls (with weights)

I too was like an advert for Oxfam when I was young and believe me it's not a nice feeling!. It made me look round shouldered and a lot younger than I was!. When I look back though it was obvious why this was so - for a start I smoked and this supressed my appetite!. I was also a very nervy person and this too took away my appetite especially at school meal times and when I was out with my friends eyeing up the lads!. I went to a health club and they put me on a special diet to build up my muscles and gave me excercises to do!. To be honest it didn't really do anything for me at all!. I finally gave up my 20 cigarettes a day, my appetite grew and I put on weight and also I met my husband, had a family and was contented!. After that it was a case of trying to keep it off! Pehaps you need to look at your lifestyle rather than your weight and see if something there might be beneficial in changing!.

Eating is the first and most important factor that is needed for proper weight gain!. It's simple - you need to eat more calories than you burn!. This does not mean eating anything and everything that is not nailed down!. Carefully plan your meals with foods that will help you gain lean mass, not fat!. I suggest 6 meals!. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, and three other small meals scheduled throughout the day!. The goal is to eat every 2!.5 to 3 hours!.
Focus on foods such as steak, chicken, fruit, milk, vegetables, cheese and assorted types of nuts!. It's recommended to eat 4 - 6 pieces of fresh fruit a day, and at least four tall glasses of milk!. Milk is a great, cheap protein source - take advantage of it!. A sample snack meal would be a glass of milk, an apple, and a hand full of peanuts!.
