Quad/Hamstring/Back of Knee Stretches!!

Question: Quad/Hamstring/Back of Knee Stretches!
I'm 15 years old and have been in dance class since i was about 4 or 5, ballet , lyrical/contemporary, tap, jazz and i started pointe last year!. But I'm not really flexible and it's holding me back from being able to dance well, especially in contemporary!. My main problems are the quads, hamstrings and the back of my knee, for example, for some things, i cant even fully straighten my leg because the muscles in the back of my knee aren't loose, so any tips or stretches would be greatly appreciated!. Thanks!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
One really good stretch is to sit on the floor!. Now take your legs straight out in front of you!. Now lean as far forward as you can go!. Hold this position for as long as you can!. Each time you do this try to bend forward a little more!. Next, In that same position, Open the legs so they are out on either side of you!. Now like before, lean as far forward as you possibly can!. Push yourself to go a little further each time!. The more you do these stretches the more flexible you will become!. The first stretch I told you will stretch behind the knee and your calves as long as you flex the feet!. The 2nd!. stretch with stretch out the inside of your legs!. I'm sure your dance instructor has you do these in class!. Ask your dance instructor what you can do to stretch more and be more flexible!. My suggestion is to take up yoga!. Perfect for balance and flexibility!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not being a dancer, I would think that the one to help you the most would be one of your dance instructors!. They should be able to give you different exercises to help with all your problems!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
