Am I over doing it with how much fruit I eat a day?!


Question:

Am I over doing it with how much fruit I eat a day?

I eat about anywhere from 3-5 cups of fruit of day. Usually 4 on average. I know that you are suppose to eat 2 cups a day (or drink). And I drink juice as well (orange juice and pure cranberry) which is also about a cup or 2 a day. What I'm wondering if I am overdoing it with the fruit intake or if I'm okay. I'm not cutting out other foods and I have been eatting fruit like this for 2 months now and haven't gained anything.

I do the exact same thing. I love fruit, and I actually prefer it to candy or junk food most of the time because I just like the fresh, natural sweetness better. Health-wise, it would be better to balance out some of those fruits with some veggies, but by eating lots of fruit rather than eating lots of greasy junk food, you're already healthier than alot of people in the world.
