Question: Im trying to lose 10 pounds
so I'm 5 ' 2 and currently 114 pounds and i am wanting to lose 10 pounds by sept 6!. So today was my diet and exercise good!.


Breakfast:
one bowl of cereal with soya milk

Lunch: a bunch of grapes and a pair


Dinner: one baked potatoe
asparagus and a fillet of salmon


Exercise

i burnt 600 hundread calories on the eliptical
i did 30 pushups on an exercise ball
30 squats on an exercise ball
30 hamstring curl on an exercise ball

lifted 5 pound weights 20 times on each arm
20 second bringe

and all i drank today was water and one diet pop!.

That's really an unhealthy diet!. Keep in mind that when you cut your caloric intake below around 1200 calories (it is different for everyone but that is a solid number), your metabolism will almost grind to a halt and your body will go into a starvation mode where it converts the calories it does get into fat!. If you aren't taking any vitamins, you are also going to be sorely lacking in nutritional intake!.

Breakfast is solid with a bowl of cereal!. You should have a snack before lunch (grapes or any other fruit is a great option)!. About 2 hours after that snack you should eat a small lunch (something like a half a sandwich!. You can have all the mustard/vinegar/veggies that you want but limit mayo, oil, and cheese)!. About 2 hours later you can have another snack (like a bowl of oatmeal or a power bar)!. For dinner, you have a great meal with what you have!. Eating alot of small meals will cause your metabolism to go VERY quickly and you will burn more calories then you would if you only ate half as much!.

You're barely eating!. I'd guess maybe 600 calories!.
You need to eat at least 1200 calories to be healthy, you are wearing your body out with all that exercise - it is a great routine, but you need more calories! don't drink diet soda, it has an artificial sweetener called aspartame that is horrible for you!. just drink water!. even if you ate lunch, you would fall short of the amount of calories you need everyday!. also, i would skip the baked potatoe and replace it with some black beans, whole grain/high fiber piece of bread or other veggiesWww@Answer-Health@Com

what my mom dose is eat ceral all day like rasin bran and sometimes eat some junkies and maybe a little dinner and then she gose running around the neighborhood or if you have a bike trail go running on that but mostl my mom will go walking or running at hover dam for 3 hours or four!! and she lost 5 in 1 1/2 week she now weighs 140 and is trying to get to 135 or 130Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your weight is fine right where you are at!. Did the track coach tell you to loose weight!? You really need to eat more!. You are eating good stuff, but it's really not enough!. 104 pounds at 5'2" is underweight and it's getting dangerous!. 114 is perfect!. Ask the coach again!. Maybe you misunderstood!. Well, you are pretty thin already it sounds like to me, but anyways!.!.!. Everything you are doing is a good and healthy way to lose weight!. But, doing weights makes you gain muscle which makes you gain weight, not lose!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

sounds like you are off to a good start!. One question, are you trying to loose weight permanently, or for a special occasion!? You may want to increase your protein just a little!. This will help you with some of the weight lifting you are doing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should switch the dinner 4 the breakfast b/c your breakfast is what should give you energy, and fish is protein!. so switch it or else that energy from the protein will turn into fatWww@Answer-Health@Com
