Trouble with mass gaining?
I have been trying to gain mass the last 2 years, but I have somewhat fallen off the track for months at a time during college. I have used different protein shakes. I go to the gym about 4 times a week, sometimes more and do separate muscle groups on different days. I know I also have to eat more in order to gain, but this has enlarged my stomach so my abs don't appear as defined. During cardio and basketball, my upper-body loses definition (because of the water-loss?). In the end, the results have not been there even though I do this every summer and about half the time during the year. Thanks for the help.
