5-6 small meals a day?!


Question:

5-6 small meals a day?

im trying to lose a little bit of weight (about 3kgs), and i was just wondering what exactly are these 'small meals'? I've cut down my daily calorie intake and started exercising every second day.

i have weetbix for breakfast, and then before dinner i'll have about 2-3 of these 'small meals'. For example is an apple considered a small meal? Or 2 rice cakes (23 calories each)? I really want to make sure i keep my calorie count low-ish.

Okay, first of all you should be exercising (in some form) every single day for at least an hour not every other day.

For my own personal diet, I eat small meals throughout the day as well, however, I refuse to count calories. I don't eat breakfast, instead I have a power shake. But when I'm hungry next, I will eat some veggies and some nuts. My next meal will be some fruit and cheese. Then maybe I will have some chicken and more veggies.

By the end of the day you should have fulfilled all of your daily requirements.

Also, if you listen to your body you won't need to count calories. Start eating and stop when you are satisfied. Drink plenty of water between your meals also. Sometimes we confuse being thirsty with being hungry.
