What's the best diet?

I'm thinking of avoiding Carbs. Carbs bloat me a lot.


Answers:

Carbohydrates are very healthy for you - if you choose the right kind (legumes, fruit, vegetables and whole grains). Control the bloating by having small portions. Also, to control the bloating drink lots of water to assist in moving the food through your intestines - remember, our intestines are approximately 28 feet in length, the water will help move the food through your system.

Avoid the "white" stuff - pretzels, white bread, pasta, anything with "enriched" as the first ingredient. These foods will promote bloating because they are difficult to move through your system. (Think of a piece of white bread sitting in a glass of water...it becomes gooey and expands - the same thing happens in your intestines.)
