Answers:

Keep it simple. Get plenty of protein. Eat protein(i.e.meat, fish) and salad or steamed vegges. Count low fat dairy as a protein and calcium source. Use it. Starch can be afterwords. No snacks before dinner. Eat earlier so you can digest before bed, and to resist snacking. Keep quick fixes around to thwart the snack monster. Keep your favorite (large enough to accomodate a steamer) sauce pan out on the stove top so it is not a big deal to use it. Invest in a stainless steel steamer for a couple of dollars which can be picked up with a tine of a fork when hot if the little ring falls off. When done just right, not overcooked, (use a timer, you're busy) hold the steamer with the fork above the pan for about a minute to let the fluid drain off a bit: steamed vegges are kinda wet. Fresh herbs can be grown in your windowsill like thyme, and add a gourmet zing along with a tiny bit of butter and light salt. Only cook what you will eat that day~ difficult to warm up, especially broccoli.
Packages of vegges are available already cut up, if that helps, but have a shorter storage time. i prefer broccoli, zucchini and green beans for steaming. Take turns with your faves and balance and increase your quantity and possibly your selections of veggies and proteins.
I like to have those packages of chicken strips around (Tyson and Foster Farms are sold in CA) which are already prepared and can just throw some in a salad or tortilla with some salad stuff and I am good. Clean up is easier and dinner is not such a big thing then.
A George foreman grill is wonderful but a bit of time to clean up after wards. Use a plastic or nylon utensil so you won't scratch the Teflon~ bad thing to do for your health.
