Yoghurt benefits?!
Question:
Yoghurt benefits?
what benefits does it have?
Answers:
Yogurt does the above mentioned (yeast control) likely through the "live and active cultures" of friendly bacteria it has. These include, among others, L. acidophilus. This bacteria is native in small quantities in your guts, and assists in digestion and yeast control. So a little more doesn't hurt.
Also, yogurt is an acidic food, and when eaten on an empty stomach, is traditionally thought to speed up the gut and alleviate (!) gastroesophageal/acid reflux. I have had good experiences with yogurt (I have severe GERD, acid up to my nose), but that's just me.
