Why did I gain TWO pounds in a day??!!!!!?!


Question: Why did I gain TWO pounds in a day!?!?!!!!!!?
Yesterday I weighed myself and I was 141!.6 pounds! I checked my weight in the morning today and the scale said I now weigh 143!.4 pounds!! WHY!?!? Ive been eating healthy like I have been! Why did I gain two pounds in a day!? I DIDNT do anything wrong!! *cries*Www@Answer-Health@Com

Relax! Your weight fluctuates throughout the day!.

It could be water weight, your clothing, etc!. I gain a couple pounds right before I have my period, but it goes right away after!.

Make sure you drink enough water and you weigh yourself at the same time of day each time you weigh yourself!.

Go to the bathroom first and do it in the same amount of (or lack there of) clothes!.

Also, and most importantly, don't obsess about it!. Your weight will still go up and down a bit (yes, even by a few pounds)!. It doesn't mean you are actually gaining weight, it just that your body is in a different state then it may have been last time!. Try weighing yourself once a week instead of everyday!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok your first problem is your weighing yourself everyday!. That alone is going to make you crazy and very obsessive over the number on the scale!. What you need to be doing is measure yourself!. Measure your arms, thighs, waiste, chest and calves!. Jot it down in a notebook and don't measure again for another month or two!. Second, to answer your question!. Just 5lbs of your weight can fluctuate in any given day!. This will all depend on if and what you ate that morning and if you had a bowel movement!. Also don't weigh yourself right after or during exercising!. Your blood is pumping hard thru your body which will make the number on the scale bigger!. Your not doing anything wrong as long as you know your eating healthy and exercising!. Just keep up the good work, stop getting on the damn scale!. Scales are EVIL!!! And try not to stress over your weight b/c stress can do funny things to people esp!. gain weight!. Don't fall into this ugly pattern!. Your doing good!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

To follow proper proceedure, the Weight Watchers say to never weigh more than once a week!! The reason for this is that weight can fluctuate a couple of pounds every day even during the day!.

The only time I step on the scales is at the doctor's office!! Yes, I have scales in my house, I could weigh every day too!! But it is NOT a good idea as the weight does fluctuate that much daily!.

It could be your hormones, it could be the amount of exercise or lack there of, it could be that you drank more water!. It could be any thing and again nothing!.

You probably are the type who gain weight fairly easily EVEN if you are eating healthy like you said!. Besides eating healthy, are you working out too!? And girl, don't worry about what the scale says!.!.!.get yourself a soft measuring tape and measure around the parts you are trying to slim down on, it'll give you a better idea of weight loss/gain!. Trust me, I don't trust the scale anymore because it likes to LIE! Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's just water weight, most likely!.

It could have been anything from a bit of extra sodium to your period coming!. Remember: water weight is not "real" weight - it is neither fat nor muscle and will work it's way out in a few days!.

It takes 3500 calories IN EXCESS of your BMR to gain a true pound of fat!.

Hard to say!. Could be due to your monthlies!. If you're exercising, could be due to muscle gain!. Could be due to actual weight gain!. It could just go away!.If you are not weighing yourself at different points of the day it could affect things!. The best time to weigh yourself is in the morning!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It could be "waterweight"!.!.!.were you wearing clothing!?!.!.!.it's amazing how much a pair of jeans and a t-shirt will add!. Maybe it's a defective scale!.!.!.I have one of those and a defective dryer that keeps shrinking my clothes!. ;)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe you didnt do as much exersizing as you did the days before or you ate a extra little treat or something like that!? but 2 pounds isnt badWww@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe your scale is broken, thats if you did eat healthy and didnt exceed over 2000-2500 calories that day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
