Question: I am extremely overweight!. How do I fix this!? !?
I am 5'5' and 163 pounds!. I hold fat in my stomach and thighs!. I have a lower tummy pudge that looks stupid when I wear a regular T-shirt witout a hoodie or jacket over it!. I dont really exercise outsie of P!.E!., but I work hard in that class!.
here is an example day of what I eat:

bowl of cheerios with milk=breakfast

2 hard boiled egg whites
pacific cooler capri sun
cup of popcorn=lunch

chocolate chip granola bar(140 cals)=snack

healthy choice soup [chicken noodle soup]
crackers=dinner

apples and peaut butter (2 apples and 4 tablesppoons peanut butter)=snack

I also drink water almost constantly throughout the day!.

I get home from school at around 3:30!. pm!. What can I do to get a good workout in that will help me lose weight!?
What should I eat to help aid in my loss!? How is my eating in the list above!? Please help! It is much appreciated!. =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

It looks like you're getting overwhelmed with answers, but I'll throw in my two cents anyway as No!. 32!. You're actually doing okay right now, but if you want to do better, here is my advice!.

Healthy eating is primarily about making food swaps!. For example, you mention that you ate cheerios in the morning!. Plain cheerios are okay for you, but you could swap them out for something like post shredded wheat spoon sized cereal!. The only ingredient in them is whole wheat, and one bowl provides a whole days worth of whole grains and twice the fiber and protein of cheerios!. You could also try fiber one or uncle Sam's!. Make sure to use plain unsweetened cereal, and sweeten the cereal with banana slices and/or strawberries, or some other kind of fruit!. Also use skim milk, as it is lower in calories and fat and actually tastes a bit sweeter!.

Swap out the capri sun for a serving of whole fruit!. Capri sun, as other answerer's have said, is pretty much flavored sugar water!. Any juice is going to be lower in nutrients and higher in calories than whole fruit!. Just use your favorite kind, and for variety, a different one than breakfast!.

For the granola bar, my favorite so far are the kashi seven whole grains brand!. More nutrition and little or no bad nutrients!. They taste great, but are a tad expensive!.

Outside of that, everything sounds good, though I would advise cutting down on the peanut butter a bit!. Two apples and Four tablespoons is more than a snack, try one apple and two tablespoons!.

Calorie wise you sound like you're doing fine outside of that!. The best thing you can do for yourself is to get as wide a variety of healthy foods that you enjoy as possible!. Whole grains, fruit, vegetables, lean meat and low fat dairy all fall into that category!.

Find an exercise that you enjoy!. It could be dancing, gardening, taking long brisk walks, jumping rope or anything!. If you enjoy it, you'll be more likely to stick with it!.

Don't think so negative, either!. You're not "extremely" overweight- "somewhat" would be a better term!. Do your best, don't do anything rash and take pride in every pound of fat lost!.

Well i dont know since your injury but maybe go biking, get exercise machines, weights!.
Try eating more chicken (not in large amounts though) and maybe just some pasta with butter once in awhile!. there's protein shakes you can make up!. Try buying Kashi food!. and eating more vegetables!.
Ohh you can also buy some pilates videos, or go to an actual class, or yoga!. It helped me gain muscle and loose weight!.

first off your body is still growing trust me !. im 5'6 and 150 pounds!. im trying to lose weight before school starts!. but maybe you shou try the lemonade diet !. it will help you flush away all the bad fat!.and in 10 days you can lose 20 poubnds !. look up the lemonade diet online !. it will help !. email me sometimes so we can talk about your progress and mine !. ok well if your only 163 pounds you really aren't EXTREMELY OVERWEIGHT i'm kind of overweight and i weigh 220 so your ok!.!.!. but anyway the meal plans excellent and as for excersize!.!.!. go outside a lil go to a park or b-ball court and have some fun!.!.!. if your really wanting to lose it then RUN and jog with short walks inbetween good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

i think you should walk 30 minutes of the day and whenever you feel hungry, drink water but dont just drink water all day, you can eat but cut down some of the food!.

Talk to your pediatrican and they can reccommend a trainer that would suit your needs!. But basic runs and walking is a good start!. Push ups and crunches work well too!. You should talk to your doctor because they will be able to help you out more!. Good job on the water!. I still have to get into that habbit!. instead of a capri sun drink water (and if its ice cold water it burns some cals)

Then cancel the granola bar with a veggy or fruit

if you walk 45 mins a day you should be losing 2 or 3 pounds a week (maybe more if you to a workout that makes you sweat)Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should swim ! its a great way to excercise because its easy and fun !. and its much more simpler than running or jogging because in the water your weightless and running and walking is harder and more tiring and makes you not want do it !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

dont eat after 9 pm i think the problem here is the peanut butter 4 tablespoons is 400 calories! and it has lots of fat , when u get home maybe you should go biking or stay home and go on a treadmill :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's very difficult, especially the first few times but it really brings results!. I hated that it was so hard but once I got in a routine of doing it I actually started to enjoy working out!. look eat the whole egg easy over is great a couple of times a week!.

Try eating fresh fruit for breakfast instead of grains and milk!.

The fit for life book by the Diamonds is good, just less wheat and other grains at least to start with would also be helpful!.

You will be less hungry doing proper food combining, try to use free range, wild meats and organic if you can as you get more nutrition from them or take natural vitamins (many are synthetic and not helpful IMO) I like the Quest brand but then I am in Canada!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hello!. I don't think your diet is a good one!. Its too strict!. You need to figure out how many calories you should eat to lose weight and stick to that amount of calories sign up for a free account at http://www!.livestrong!.com/thedailyplate You can eat whatever you want, as long as you don't go over the calorie count!. I mean don't eat all junk, but you won't be able to stick to that diet too long!. You need something that is life long!.

For fat around the middle and thighs, watch your carbs!. The good news is that a new study that recently came out says most people lose weight through the middle first!. Kickboxing workouts burn about 700-1100+ an hour!. Try something other than Tae Bo though, because it can become boring!. Add some weight training in!. Do some weights!. Being a nurse and knowing nutrition I can help, I love nutrition any way!.
What kind of milk do you pour on the Cheerios!? Whole, 2%!? Try evaporated milk!. I know this sounds bad, but really you get used to it and it tastes just like regular milk, just add a little extra to the amount of water!. Cheerios are OK, but they are all carbs!. You need to eat a "good fat"!. That could be from any plant source, olive oil, avocados, butter, any kind of nuts such a mixed nuts, not peanut butter!. Since you like peanut butter try a brand with the least amount of saturated fats and sugar!. I know I said butter, but its natural like honey, both are great for you!. I make my own granola for breakfast!. Go online, there are plenty of recipes there, cooking!.com, america's test kitchen
Granola bars are high in fat and sugar!. You can make your own, anything homemade is going to be better for you than prepackaged foods plus you won't get the additives and preservatives they put in their food!.!.
Look at the can of Healthy Choice!. How much fat, sodium, and sugars does it have!? Also look for High Fructose Corn Syrup, if that is an ingredient you don't want to eat it! It globs the fat on you!. Always check these amounts!.
Apples are good with peanut butter, but instead try Balsamic Vinegar, it is soooo good! Surprisingly!.
Good you are drinking lots of water to keep hydrated!.
For supper you could have boneless/skinless chicken breasts!. Put the chicken in a freezer bag, they are heavy and won't break!. Pour on some soy sauce or teriakyi sauce, or balsamic vinegar, or pour some Italian bread crumbs in the bag, then close and beat it pretty flat, I would say until the meat begins to spread out in the bag, let it set for 30 minutes and lightly fry in olive oil or grilled is even better!. You should have enough for leftoves the next day!. Its so good you won't know its leftovers!
My husband and I have been eating this way, fish one day, chicken breasts the next since March and he has lost over 20 lbs!. and I have lost 13 lbs!. We feel so much better!.
I know what you mean about the pooch belly, I have one too, always have!. I am only 5'2" so I have constantly watched my weight!.
Its great you are aware of this now while you are young because the older you get, the worse weight problem you will have!.
Just watch the labels for the amounts of saturated fats and sugars!.
Saturated fats clog arteries and if your diet improves so do your arteries!. Which means better blood flow so you won't get tired!. Also adding fiber to your diet fills you up without filling you out!. Grains, fresh fruits, veggies, nuts!.
Sugars of the refined type slow down motility so your body hangs on to them turning them into fat if you don't work it off by exercising!. Carbs you know turn into fat if not worked off!.
We haven't given up the goodies!. We eat our fruit every day with lots of color, and veggies too!. The more colorful your food is, the better for you too! If you eat like this you will lose that fat around your middle, I did and I am 55 next month!. You do need some exercise, walking, swimming, aerobics, dancing anything to get your heart going for just 20 minutes a day, thats it!.

eliminate the capri sun!. anything you drink should be plain water!. also if you're eating popcorn make sure it's not loaded with butter!. there are a variety of workouts that will help you lose weight!. you can jog consistently for 10 minutes and sprint as fast as you can for 2 minutes!. the next day you do the same but sprint for 3 minutes!. the next 4 minutes and so on!. you shouldn't be doing any stomach workouts until you lose some weight first (10 pounds or so)!. jump roping is always fun!. i lost a total of 20 pounds in 1 1/2 month!. in your case being 5'5 and a female i think your ideal weight would be 125ish!.

*make sure u stretch or the next day you'll be too sore to want to work out!Www@Answer-Health@Com
