Protein shake right after workout??!


Question: Protein shake right after workout!?!?
I know to you take a protein shake before and right after a workout!. When you say right after a workout that means that you should take it when finished weightlifting!? What if I have 20 min of cardio left to do and 15 min to get home!. Is it too late to take it then!? Or should I take it after I finished weightlifting and before my cardio!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think within the hour after working out completely will be fine!. I do the same as you, weightlifting then cardio!. and when I get home I make my shake!. So far it seems to be working!. I've gained about 10 pounds and am significantly stronger, faster than I expected!. This was just with 16 grams of protein in my shakes plus the protein I got throughout the day!. Now I'm putting double that in my shakes after working out!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you still have cardio left to do, it's alright to wait a bit for the protein!. For one, you're still keeping the blood flowing to your muscles and for another, getting something in your stomach before aerobic exercise in all likelihood could result in a stitch or!.!.!.!.seriously!.!.!. some pretty embarrassing farts, not to mention giving your body something to burn other than the fat you're trying to target!.

I'd bring a shaker cup to the gym with you to eliminate the 15 minutes it takes to get home!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Take it as soon as you can!. Maybe bring a water bottle with the powder already in it to the gym with you and fill it up there!. If not then just take it when you get home!. I'd wait till after your cardio!.!.!. youre still burning carbs and if your shake has carbs in it youll need it to replenish your glycogen reserves post workout!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

As long as you're staying active after your workout, it buys you more time than if you were just sitting around!.

The closer to actually doing the weightlifting the better, so if possible, do it in between your lifting and cardio, or while doing your cardio!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Its fine dont worry about 20 minutes or so just dont take it like 2 hours later lol, and what protein you using i would recommend this, lasts longer and shows good results!.!.!.
