Are you being scammed about trans fats?!

Question: Are you being scammed about trans fats!?
Do you read the label and see "Trans Fat 0g" and think it's healthy!? Guess again! Did you see that "partially hydrogenated [soybean/canola/cottonseed] oil" in the ingredient list!? If you trust corporations, that's your first mistake!. If you trust Republicans, that's your second mistake!. If you trust the FDA when it's run by Republican appointees, !.!.!. That's the root of the problem!. The FDA, which was orignally founded to protect us, now protects corporations from having to indulge in "Truth in Capitalism!." If it contains less than 1g PER SERVING it contains 0g PER SERVING! Whatta scam!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
you are correct, manufactures are allowed to round down numbers!. they are also allowed to label maltodextrin as a complex carbohydrate when it reality it is a long chained molecule of glucose with very weak hydrogen bonds and it has a GI of 100!. unfortunately there are lots of deceptive labeling practices that are allowed by law here in the US!. for that you can thank our politicians from both parties!.

there are many reasons why heavily processed foods should be limited in the diet there is not much nutrition in most of them!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
