Is it bad to eat simple carbs in the morning i noticed my special k ceral is not!


Question: Is it bad to eat simple carbs in the morning i noticed my special k ceral is not whole grain!?
is that bad!.!.it is the protein kind like 10g protein 14g carbs and 3g fat but it's not whole grain and i usally have 2-3 servings making about 200-300cals without milk!. as a whole breakfast it's like 500cals with milk and a banana good or no!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well that depends on what you are trying to achieve, but since you are counting I am assuming that you are trying to lose body fat!. 500 calories is an ok amount for breakfast but I would consider mixing it up a bit!. I would switch to a whole grain- as it provides energy for the body that lasts longer!. Simple carbs do not store as energy in the body as long and are broken down into sugar and can be stored as fat!. They are basically empty calories!. I would go with one or two servings of cereal and add in some fruit!. Throw it in the cereal or eat separately!. Consider non-fat milk too! Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's never ideal to eat simple carbs unless you're dealing with a very low blood sugar emergency!. Perhaps you should switch to an unprocessed grain cereal such as oatmeal or Kashi's fiber plus line that's fortified with soy!. That latter stuff tastes like cardboard but has nearly unrivaled nutritional value!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
