Well I can't advise you on excercise- as I've come to terms that I'm just too lazy for it lol!.

But I'm cutting back on calories instead!. You can work out your calories your body burns each day using an online BMR calculator and then subtracks 500 from that- but make sure you don't go below 1200-1300 or your metabolism may slow too quickly!.

For example: My body burns roughly 1850 calories a day (I round it to 1800) so I consume 1300 calories- resulting in 1lb loss per week)!.

Read weight loss forums- it helps to get an idea about losing weight!. Always keep in mind that you will have fluctuations, so it's best to weigh once a week, but I find I lose motivation if I don't weigh every day!.

If you reach a difficult stage, or do badly, don't lose motivation- it's just a part of losing weight, which is why it's so rewarding when you get there!.

Set yourself small goals, such as losing 5 lbs (at first) and then 10 lbs aftr that!.

At first, you will probably lose weight quickly (I lost 4lbs in my first week!) but after that, it will probably settle to 1lb a week!.

I use a spreadsheet to record the weeks and the totall loss for that week and loss in total- which stops me from giving up if I gain a little!. You should try it too!. I think it may help!.

Good luck! What ever you do- don't excercise or restrict food too much, as this will damage your body and when it's time to just maintain your weight, it will be hard as your metabolism would have been damaged so much!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you should consider making a lifestyle change not a diet!. Why be a prisoner trapped in your own body when the doors wide open!?!? Try doing it one step at a time :) don't make unrealistic goals!.!.!.!.exercise till you break a sweat 3-5 times a week (30-60 min) of mostly cardio and 2-3 times a week of strength training, also mix it up don't just run every day!. you can do workouts at home leslie sansone workout dvds are good for a sweat and easy to follow!. also you should do a food journal and be honest to yourself, find a calorie calculator on the internet and you'll feel better in no time ! Good Luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

for a workable diet
here is what my dietician suggests !. follow a practical diet!. start your meal with a soup or a huge salad!. this fills u up!. Make sure your plate has this ratio - 50 per cent veg, 25 per cent carb!.remember potatoes, corn and peas come in carbs category, 25 per cent protein!.this will prevent cravings too!.have a protein shake if you like too!.an occassional treat is OK!. have a snack every three hours!. fruit ideally berries, or soy nuts!. just 2 tbsp of soya subsides hunger pangs!. switch from white rice and bread to brown!. eat 900gms of veggies a day!.Lose a kilo a week!. that is permanent loss!. pick an exercise regime you like!.
get a pedometer and try to take 10,000 steps everyday!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

ask your doctor if you need thyroid medication!. you might need a special diet to work with your thyroid, too!. I just found out the the weight loss website SparkPeople has a team just for people with thyroid problems!. it's a free site and maybe someone there can help you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, when your first starting out,Do some stretches before you do anything in the morning, to kind of wake yourself up and to let your muscles know your using them!. throughout the day, try to get up and be active as much as you can!. No packaged foods would help greatly, and if you take a teaspoon of vinegar after a high carb meal, it should help with your carb intake!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the best way to lose weight is to work out!.
i believe jogging has the quickest results!.
jog/run(whatever you prefer) for about 10 minutes at least once or twice a week to start off with and u will feel a difference
if ur not very motivated to run u can always bring someone with-that always makes me want to do a little better than when i run alone
eating healthy always helps too : DWww@Answer-Health@Com

Changing the composition of your body all starts with diet!. Check out http://theblogformen!.com/a-healthy-mans-!.!.!. for a some general guidelines!. Getting the diet in check is the first step!. The next step is to add in exercise!. You need to start slowly with what you can handle: walking, light jog, biking, swimming, light weightlifting, and continue to improve!. I would shoot for 3-4 workouts a week with about 30 minutes per session!. You should keep the exercise varied so you don't get bored with it!.!.!.no need to bang out hours on the treadmill!.

One of the most valuable things you can do is keep track of your diet and workouts in a notebook!. Write down EVERYTHING you eat and drink, and record your workouts!. This gives a reality check real quick!.
