Help with an exercise plan? 10 Points!?!


Question: Help with an exercise plan!? 10 Points!!?
Four days of the week I do the following :
5 minutes warm up walking to the gym
40-45 minutes of elliptical/ cross trainer maintaining my target heart rate
About 100-200 crunches
Sometimes triceps workouts
5 minutes of cool down walking home

I am afraid of weight training because I do not want to gain muscle!.
I also eat healthy and drink a TON of water!.
I feel that I am not getting the most effective work out!.
Tips or suggestions would be wonderful !!

It is very easy to do weight training and not look big!. You really need more variety in your workouts!. You do not want to grind out time on the elliptical daily!.

You should try running, swimming, cycling, in addition to the elliptical!. You should also try to add in some light weight training, core exercises, stretching, and bodyweight exercises (push ups, sit ups, dips, etc!.!.)!. There are also a lot of variants to crunches that would be more effective and make workouts less boring!.

If you give me some more info on your gender/age/height/weight, what equipment you have available to you, and what your diet consists of, I'd be happy to help you put together a varied routine!.

Change up your workout!. Doing the same thing everyday, like the elliptical, will train your body to be the most efficient at that!. Try the treadmill, or the bike if you don't like running, or take a class at the gym!. Also try shorter, more intense workouts on some days!. Just move different muscles! And don't worry about getting too muscular!. Women simply don't because they don't have enough testosterone to build up that kind of muscle!. But, you should lift weights because it 1) helps burn more calories (muscle burns more calories than fat) and 2) it prevents bone loss later on in life!. And good for you about eating healthy!. Just remember - more calories in than out equals weight gain, no matter what you're eating!. Hope that helps and good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Breakfast: Yogurt!.
Lunch: Salad!.
Dinner: Chicken with veg!.
Snacks: Fruit!.

With this you will lose the weight quickly but heathily!.

Only drink water and run for 30 minutes a day!.
