When do i lose weight?

I started weight training and doing cardio almost, if not, everyday for a week and i plan to do it for the rest of the summer. Im not fat, but i do have a little bit of college gain. Im 5'6", 155 lbs. I ran again today for a mile without stopping and i can already feel that i can do 1.5 miles. So my endurance is already going up, but when can i expect to shed these extra pounds? I hope to lose at least 20 lbs by the end of summer.

if you plan on losing weight, remember that you must expend more calories than you consume. the requirement for muscle gain is the opposite. If you are weight training use lower weight and do more reps. A pound of fat contains 3500 calories, and you will want to burn more than that per pound of fat you plan to lose, because you will also burn carbs and such. Cut down on your calories, and more importantly fat calories. I find cereal and skim milk is filling, while still being low calorie. You may want to replace a meal with it. The amount of cardio that you do alone is not enough to really start burning fat. Instead of running without stopping, try alternating between intense running for a short period and resting (walking, jogging) for a short time. this will burn more fat.
