My two best friends moved away three years ago, so I have a lot of those 'Catch Up' Conversations... and they can get awkward when you realize that you've grown apart, but don't want to give up your friend.
I always like to bring up old inside jokes... (back in the day my appartment was not to be used as a home for wayward farrets...) and "Remember when..."s
Laughing about the good old days always paves the way for reconnection.
