You need to go and see your doctor!. Also - you need to discuss the problem with your parents!. If they are responsible for cooking your meals - you need them to cut down your portion size in the evening and don't eat after 7pm!. After you have your evening meal, make that the last thing you eat!.

You need to do more exercise!. Even if its just walking!. Ask a friend to come walking with you!.

I know its hard as I used to be large when I was your age!. Its all about realising that you don't need as much food as you think!.

When you are eating meals, eat them slower and stop eating when you feel full!. Not when you feel too full and would need to open a button on your trousers!.

Your high blood pressure will probably correct itself with your weight loss!.

I have tried many diets and the problem is - if you cut out food or starve yourself - your body will think you are starving it and will store any fat it can get!. You need to eat little portions more often, rather than big meals!.

If you are able, get up in the morning and go for a nice long walk before breakfast!. This way, your body will burn off a bit of fat before you eat breakfast!.

And never skip breakfast - as its really important to get your metabolism going!. It will get your body going in the morning!.

Oh, my!. You do need to work on that!. I lost 60 lb by eating right and exercising every day!. I would ride my bike for 1 hour every day, and some days I would also walk for an hour!. In the winter time when it is icy and I can't ride I walk about 5 miles a day!. Eat fruits, veggies, whole grains, beans, lean meats, and drink lots of water!. Avoid fatty foods, fried foods and sweets!. Especially avoid soda pop!. Restaurant food and fast food has tons of salt and calories so try not to eat too much of that!. It took me about 5 months to lose 60 lb and I have been able to keep it off for 2 years!. Good luck!. Exercise is the most important thing you can do to lose weight!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Weight loss is achieved when you burn more calories than you consume!.!.!. so if you eat less and sit around, you won't lose weight!.

You need a combination of healthy diet and reasonable exercise to stay in shape!.

And there's no such thing as "permanently" You can always gain weight back by tilting the equation the other way!. If you want to keep weight off, you need to keep eating healthy and exercising!.

High protien, low fat, minimal good carbs, and sugar-free liquids to keep you from getting dehydrated!.

eat a banana then walk your dog for 2 miles
come home and have a smoothie

then do some situps

then eat lunch (a pita with veggies and humus) and go play 2 hours of tennis (eat an apple in between)
then work your way up to running for 30 minutes and do 30 minutes of weight training

I agree that you need to talk to your parents and your doctor!. At 12 you should be outside being active!. Find a close friend or your parent(s) to walk with either before or after school!.
