One thing you must always do is stretch before & after any physical activity you do!. What you can try, and I have done this myself for a 3 day, all day body combat training , is drink Muscle Milk before and after your KungFu session!. I went to this 3 day training to become a fitness instructor for Body Combat at my gym!. Let me tell you, it was anything but easy!. The Muscle Milk makes it so your not sore later on or the next day!. It helps your muscles heal faster!. Try it, its really good!. My fav is the chocolate!. I heard that banana's and cream flavored one is real tasty to!. Also, you can workout when your sore, but take it a little easier till your muscles aren't so sore!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your muscles are actually getting stronger during this sore part!. When you're doing exercises, you're sort of damaging the muscle (for lack of a better word, really not as horrible as it sounds)!. The muscle then rebuilds itself to be stronger!.
During the time when you're sore, it's okay to keep working out, but not as intense!. You want to give your muscles time to heal before you do anything intense again!.

Here's a neat little site that explains it better: http://www!.drmirkin!.com/fitness/2056!.htm!.!.!.

To help heal, soak in a warm bath with a cup or two of Epsom salt!. Also, potassium is great for sore muscles and cramps, so bananas should be your best friend!. It wouldn't hurt to get a sports massage from time to time either!.

Make sure you warm up and cool down properly!. Stay hydrated!. Make sure you get enough sleep!. All this will help ensure that you don't do something improperly and hurt yourself!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

stretching and icing your arms would be the best way to go!. in order to actually stretch the muscles in your arm, your hav to at least stretch them for a minute!. at least!. try stretching before you go to bed, and before and after your kungfu!. alsso, icy hot really helps!. you can buy it at usually any grocery store, but pharmacies would be the first choice to get it at!. put it on your arms wherver it is sore!. it really helps!.

also, ice baths (or just with really cold water) or an extremely hot bath!.

and yes, if your arms are so that means they are tight and you are more likely to pull a muscle in your arm!. the only way to prevent this is to stretch your arm!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

u can take a warm or hot bath or lay down may-b but its not healthy to keep doing stuff like exercise when your muscles r sore when they r sore they r telling u that's enough take a breather u can harm your muscles and tendons if u continue to do soWww@Answer-Health@Com
