Does she eat regularly around you!? Like eating lunch or snacks!? Either she has an eating disorder or just a very high metabolism which would mean she eats a lot all the time!. Or maybe she purges, does she always go to the bathroom for a while after eating!? You should watch for these signs!. She does look a little sad/depressed in those pics and very very thin!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She looks fine to me, I am about her weight and don't consider myself to be anorexic, there is a significant difference between being thin and being anorexic though!. Remember anorexia is a mental disorder!. Does your friend abnormally restric her food intake or starve herself, does she have an unrealistic idea of how she looks, does she percieve herself to be fat!? if so, then she needs professional help
And I have to strongly disagree with the first poster, anorexia is not defined upon how thin a person is or their calorie intake!. It is, as I said, a mental disorder!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

anorexia is defined by not eating more than 800 calories in a day!.!.!. your very thin friend obviously has a problem!.!.!.
she needs to see a doctor to get a diagnosis and treatment!.
frankly the other girl in the picture of four with shorter blonde hair also looks anorexic, more so than your friend!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your friend could just be very thin!. Not everyone that are really thin have an eating disorder!. How long have you known her!. Has she lose a lot a weight since you've known her!. You don;t have before and after picture!. Her face does looks healthy looking!. I've known girls skinnier and they're not anorexic!.
I think instead of posting picture of your friends,(if she really is your friend) you should sit down with her and talk about your concerns!.If it turns out that she does have an eating disorder and you don't know how to help her then ask your advice!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can't really say!. Some people are naturally small!. You will realise some kids you were in primary school with and were skinny are probably still quite thay way, and the chubby ones are most likey still chubby!.

As long as you eat the same as everyone else at home I wouldn't be too worried!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Nope I dont think shes anorexic at all, she looks healthy, its just her natural body build!. Her skin and hair looks healthy and she looks happy and secure in herself!. most anorexics cover themselves up in baggy clothes!.
I am naturally thin and people use to think that I didnt eat, and they use to pick on me, well I showed them who looked stupid as at a dinner part I ate more than them, while they were there panicing about calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Anorexia is not based on how thin a person is!. Overweight people can be anorexic as well!. You may want to look for other signs such as low self esteem, brittle hair, unhealthy skin, or compulsive behavior if you're suspicious!. Keep in mind that she may just have a slender body type!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try this sites and see what it says, slim on under wait side is OK, but cannot be ultra slim!.

You have good answers, so enjoy lfe and stay healthy!. Under 1200 cal per day body begins to shut down so be very care full!.

I hope that your friend knows that you have put pictures on Q and A, I would not be happy at all about it if I hadn't given you my permission!. To me she looks like any other skinny kid, but if you know she is being silly tell her !Www@Answer-Health@Com

just because she is thin doesnt mean she is anorexic, i was very slim when i was her age, my nickname was twiggy, see if she eats when you eat or whether she continually refuses food or makes an excuse not to eat like oh i have just eatenWww@Answer-Health@Com

No, I'm about as skinny as that and I'm not anorexic just a little on the skinny side!.
If she thinks shes fat or she refues to eat then yeah shes anorexic otherwise no shes just skinny!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

She's very slim but I don't really see her bones showing through!. She may have an eating disorder, but you'd have to closely observe her to know!. She may be bulimic, starving herself!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

i cant tell but you need to talk to her about this watch her eatting patterns if she makes excuses for not eatting tell a parent also look up sighns of anorexia and if she has more than one get her help imediatlyWww@Answer-Health@Com

No i don't think so she's thin , but she's not a bag of bones!. She also looks quite happy anorexics look very miserable!. I could be wrong I'm no expert!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you guys are fatties!!! lol JUST KIDDING at that age alot kids are very skinny, even if eat alot so just tell her to eat tasty food (which is fattining) is just her thyroid glandWww@Answer-Health@Com

NOO!! of course not! she looks naturaly skinnyWww@Answer-Health@Com
