Question: If I become a fruitarian ( a person that only eats fruit) and do it for 1 month!?
how much weight do you think I will lose, I'm 15 years old, 5'3-5'4 but closer to 5'4 and I weigh 132Www@Answer-Health@Com

fruit is a popular misconception , it predominanelty contains fructose a form of sugar which is most readily stored as body Fat!. All you would be doing is starving yourself , in the end what determines weight loss is calories in vs calories out , however what determines body composition , in this case loss of body fat is the macro nutrients of your daily diet in conjunction with total calories!. To achieve a healthy body , one that you can sustain , you should include protein , carbs , and fat!. You don't have to lose any weight, because you are not overweight at all! There are 3 good reasons why you shouldn't become a fruitarian: 1) You are not overweight 2) You cannot get all the nutrients you need from fruit alone (such as fibre, calcium, fatty acids, etc!.) and lacking these nutrients can cause serious health problems and 3) Once you go back to your regular diet after the month is over you will most likely gain back all the weight you lost plus more as your body will over compensate to make up for what it was lacking!. Really girl, you have no reason to lose weight, you are a great weight for your height :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would suggest that yes you would loose weight - quite a significant amount, HOWEVER you should consider all of the nutrients that you body will be missing out on, that would be required in order for you to continue to grow in a healthy manner!.

Eating a balanced diet and exercise is the best way to maintain a healthy and consistent weight!.
Your body requires IRON, calcium and a whole range of foods that there is no possible way you could consume by only eating Fruit!.
I would suggest making an appointment with a dietician to discuss any concerns you may have with your weight and the foods that you should be eating considering you age and othere stats!.

Probably none- and if you ate enough fruit, you'd probably gain weight!. That is totally unhealthy!. You would be lacking so many vitamins! Fruit is full of sugar!. It might be natural sugar, but it's sugar none the less! If you want to do something healthy, research vegetarianism or a healthy life style!. If you need any help regarding a healthy life style (because I can't tell if this question is serious or not) totally feel free to email me! It's really easy to get into a healthy life style!. Diets don't work- a life style change does!. Sorry, but I can't help you much with vegetarianism or veganism!.!.!. I don't follow either diet!. You could lose weight, but you can eat a variety and still lose!. First off, cut soda out of your diet completely (this includes diet sodas and energy drinks)!. They are trash and total rubbish!.

Also, if you were to do this for a month, then went back to your old ways, you would gain the weight back!. Just read up on proper nutrition and do some smart shopping!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

don't do it!.!. you don't get enough nutrients that you need and is gonna make you look like $hi+ (your skin, hair is gonna look unhealthy)!.!.just become a vegetarian!.!.you will lose enough weight by cutting meat from your diet since it contains soo much fat!. also try to get sum exercise!.!. at least go for a walk with your ipod and you won't realise you are "exercisin"!. it's pretty fun and relaxing!. good luck gurl!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on how much fruit you eat!. I could eat enough fruit to gain weight!. Fruit is just like any other food if you are on a calorie diet!. Fruit also has a lot of carbohydrates which the body makes fat out of!. For example an apple is about 50% carbohydrate!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not a good idea!. Your body needs protein to rebuild tissue and fruit alone will not accomplish that for you!.If you want to lose weight, eat balanced meals,but do more cardio and caloric restriction to get to your goal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
