Ways to get motivated to exercise?!


Question: Ways to get motivated to exercise!?
I've recently lost about 18lbs, and I am down from 180 to 162!. My weight goal is 145!. Since I lost that much weight, I am starting to lose track, and kind of just give up on exercise!. I started out today well, with a really good breakfast, cheerios and fruit and a glass of water, so I hope to get back on track today and exercise!. I haven't exercised since last friday! Please help me get back on track and get motivated to lose my last 17lbs!Www@Answer-Health@Com

ok so you had a bad/lazy week, move on and let it go, just keep pushing to lose that weight, you had plenty of cheat meal days and no exercise days to make you weight 180, now its time to focus and work your @55 off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Good for you on the weight loss! You should be proud of yourself!. What helps motivate me is to sign up for charity races, like a 10K or 5K!. Then I have to train to be in shape for it, and to improve my time over the last race!. If you're not a runner, you could still sign up for the walk portion of the event (most have walks to)!. So you support a good cause, meet new people, and get exercise!. And, even if you walk, you still probably have to train!. You could also alternate between walking and jogging!.

Weights are good for building muscle, which burns more calories, so include that in your weekly workouts!. I also like to write down my routines and then watch TV while doing push ups, hand weight exercies, and squats and lunges!.

I found gyms to be too much of a hassel to get too!. I put a treadmill in my main living area so its always in my sight!. Out of sight, is out of mind!.

Get a work out buddy that you have to hold each other accountable to get it done!.

And I personally have a 2 year old who loves bike rides, I used to hate bike riding but once I got started I love it, and its great exercise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I find that when I get lazy I listen to certain music to get me going!. Dance music esp!. Try that!. Just like someone else wrote, you had an "off" week, it happens, dont dwell on it, just use it to motivate you!. Congrad's on your weight loss!. I did weight watchers and started at 186 and am down to 166 and that was without excersize! It is hard work either way! Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am an exercise nut but some days I just can't get around to my usual workout!. I might jump on my mini tramp for 30 minutes while I veg on TV or today it was raining so I went upstairs and spent an hour on DDR with Wii then an extra 30 playing wii tennis and boxing!. I am not sure if you are a member of a gym, but here are some suggestions:
? Take classes that you will enjoy!. I joined a boxing club because it was interesting!. My friend took a hip hop class and another Spanish dancing class!.

? If you can afford it, get a trainer or do boot camp sessions @ the gym!. This way you have specific appointments that will cost you $ if you break them!. So you will definitely have to go!.

? Get a gym or work out buddy if you can!. Make a commitment that on X day at X time, we will e!.g!. run together or take a walk or attend a class together!.

? Incorporate it into your life style!. Meaning no need to carve out a specific time frame!. Try to spread out your work out for about 15-30 mins =, 4-5 times a day!. Here are some examples of what you can do!.
