It is extremely tough for a 13 year old to follow a strict regime diet!. Fruits and vegetables, raw are wonderful take along snacks!.
Lots of grilled chicken, greens and 3 to 4 small snack meals throughout the day!.
I liked yogurt and banana's when I was trying to lose -

From the time I was 13, I carried and extra 10 to 15 pounds through school, played in every sport their was and it didn't come off completely until I was a young adult!. My whole family was like that, it sometimes has a lot to do with your metabolism and when it really kicks in!. If you yourself are not heavy and it does not run in the family, learning good eating habits now, will prevent her from being heavy!.

Good luck to you and to herWww@Answer-Health@Com

That's "lose" (loose is what you want your pants to be when the weight comes off)!.

Eat lean protein, fruits and veggies, whole grain products, healthy fats, and drink lots of water for a healthy diet all the time (not just to lose weight)!. Several small meals a day are typically recommended over 3 large ones, with reasonable portion sizes (meat portion about the size of a deck of cards for example)!.

Add to that cardio exercise for calorie burning, and strength training for firming muscles and preventing jiggle!.!.!.as well as increasing metabolism!.

A calorie deficit of 500 a day (burning 500 more than you consume) will give you a weight loss of 1 lb of fat per week!. The recommended is 1 - 3 lbs to keep it at a rate that indicates it's being done in a healthy manner, and you're more likely to keep it off!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Depends!. If you combine the right exercise and diet you will see fast results!. If you only do one of these the results might take longer to see!. Try the calorie shift method, it is safe and it will provide you with the correct meals and portion sizes!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
