How much can someone lose in 6 weeks?!


Question: How much can someone lose in 6 weeks!?
I need to lose 40-50 lbs!. I have been doing this for 2 weeks so far and lost nothing but I have 6 more weeks before going away and want to lose as much as possible!. I know I wont lose the whole 40 lbs in 6 weeks but how much can I lose!? I eat brown rice and veggies and grilled chicken every day for lunch and dinner, and I usually gave Kashi go lean cereal w fat free milf for breakfast!. I eat fruits for snacks!. I do 30 mins on the elliptical every morning and 30 mins every night!. I also walk for 30 mins on my lunch break at work!. I do squats, crunches, and my hand weights every other day!. So what do you think!??Www@Answer-Health@Com

i went on a fruit and vegetable diet before and i lost a lot of weight! you can lose like!.!.!. 6 pounds/ week if you don't exercise!. but if you do exercise you can lose like!.!.!. 8/10 pounds a week!.
It also depends on how much you weigh and what you currently eat (but i was already a vegetarian at the time *now a vegan! yeah! ha ha)
You have to eat only fruit and vegetables, you can eat food with protein (peanuts, veggie meat *meat is unhealthier so i personally recommend it*, you may also have a slice of bread with peanut butter on it)

I know this doesn't answer your question but you said you want to lose near 10 pounds a week and this diet immediately popped in my head!.

and also it's kind of easy to put the weight back on after the diet so you might want to increase the intensity of your workout if you want to keep the weight off!.

When i wrestled, the sports doctor only allowed wrestlers to safely lose two pounds per week!. So safely, you can lose only about 12 pounds!. This won't be a popular answer, but it is generally what is recommended!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

it depends upon your starting weight and current dietary habits!. Often people lose 5 or more pounds the first week of any calories reduction exercise program then level out to about 2 pounds per week!.

The rule is you have to burn / cut out 3200 calories to lose one pound!.

If you calculate your daily calories needed to maintain your current weight [I used weight X 13 ] and then calculate how many calories you can cut/ burn per day!. You can figure it out!.

Note as you lose the weight your daily caloric need drops so you need to eat less and or burn more to maintain the same level of weight loss!.

But it is pretty unreasonable to thin you can lose 40 - 50 pounds in 6 weeks Www@Answer-Health@Com
