Answers:

Dear child,

Please just do one thing more and another thing less. Eat less of all of the foods you enjoy, and exercise as often as you have the chance. Here are some tips I wish I had when I was eleven and very big:

Stay out of fast food restaurants.

Drink a lot of water, flavored with real lemon juice.

Don't drink soda of any kind for a while.

Eat more chicken than beef, and more fish than pork (meaning ham, bacon, and sausage.)

If you have a favorite show that you just have to watch, then instead of just sitting there, do little exercises like lifting your feet off the floor with very light ankle weights on.

When you are eating, don't wolf your food. Take a bite and put your fork down and chew your food well. This helps with digesting, which starts between your teeth.

Don't worry about your weight as much as your health, because too little weight can be even worse for you at this stage in your life.

Don't let the TV set your example for you. A lot of those people are not very well.

Talk to an adult you respect about things like this, especially if that adult has a good handle on health and wellness subjects.

I wish you well.
