Exercising for weight loss?!


Question: Exercising for weight loss!?
I am and over weight 28 year old female!. I've been going to the gym as I'd like to lose weight!. The machines I enjoy are Elliptical, StairMaster, Bike, and all the weight machines!. My question is how long should I be doing of each to maximize my weight loss!. Should I be switching up my routines every day etc!? Just wondering if anyone has a plan that might help me!? So far I've just been going about 4 days a week, min of 35 mins cardio + 15 mins weights!.

Well, first of all, just exercising will not cause weight loss!. You first need to make sure that you are eating correctly!. Instead of eating 3 meals, try eating mini meals (about 300-350 calories each mini meal) at 8am, 10am, 12am, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, 8pm!. This should be between 1800 and 2000 calories a day!. Try to eat as much fruit and veges as possible, and if your having trouble giving up certain things, try slowly transitioning!.

For example, switch from Coca Cola, to Diet Coke, to flavored Seltzer, to water!. Enjoy small treats sometimes if you feel you need a reward!.

As for the exercise, 4 nights a week is a good amount of time!.

Here is a schedule:

WEEK ONE:
Each day four times a week, do!.!.!.
Elliptical=10 minutes
StairMaster=10 Minutes
Bike=10 minutes
Weights=15 minutes

Each week, increase each cardio activity by 5 minutes!. Soon, in a matter of weeks, you will be able to to 30 minutes of each, in a row!. Also, you could try running, or biking, or even walking in your neighborhood on your off days!. Take the stairs, skip the car ride, and make good choices!. Reward yourself, and enjoy your new body!
