Answers:
Run a shower as cold as you can over your legs for at least a minute!. This will help to remove the swelling of your legs!. Cold helps divert fluid away from the area (not increase blood flow) and this helps reduce tissue damage and start the repair process in place!. Once you've done this then you can use heat to help relax the muscles!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Bad!. Athletes have ice baths after sport to remove lactic acid from the muscles!. Lactic acid is a by-product of exercise which breaks down muscle tissue!. Cold water causes a rush of blood to the area which flushes out the lactic acid!. Hot water baths or showers causes muscles and joints to swell up even more making it harder for the lactic acid to exit!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
