Please help! Weight loss plateau in 5 days?! ?!

Question: Please help! Weight loss plateau in 5 days!?! !?
I am obese and I've been trying to lose weight starting about 5 days ago!. I'm cycling my calories between 1300 and 1500 so my metabolism won't freeze up and "plateau"!. At first it was great and I lost a few pounds, and now for some reason I've been the same weight for the past 2 days!. Why!? What can I do to fix it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you only started a couple of days ago and you've already lost a couple of pounds, then that's a lot in that short space of time!. To lose 1lb of fat, you need a deficit of 3500 calories (whether from diet, exercise or both)!. I would imagine that some of your weight loss is attributed to water loss rather than it all being true fat loss, which is why you think that you have plateaued!. In truth, you probably haven't!. Try not to weigh yourself everyday but every 4 days; you should then see a loss every time you weigh in!.!.!. which is great motivation to keep going!.

Congratulations on your determination and best of luck! You are definitely on the right track so just stick with it!!

I hope this helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Maybe you should only weigh yourself once a week, and at the same time each time you do!. Your weight can fluxuate a couple of pounds every day!. Your weight in the morning can be a couple of pounds less than it is in the afternoon (not sure why)!. Are you working out!? Maybe add a little walking each day!. Start out with a few minutes a day and work up to 30 - 60 minutes per day!. Everyone plateaus now and then!. Just keep it up!. Don't let it get you down!. And don't get too stuck on the number on the scale!. If you're working out, remember that muscles weigh more that fat!. You might not be losing lots of weight but you might be losing lots of inches!.

Good luck!. And good for you!. Losing weight is one of the best things you can do for your health!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
