Question: Does sleeping for a longer period of time help you grow taller!?
during summer vacation, i usually sleep for about 12-13 hours!. does sleeping for a longer period of time help you grow taller!? because when school starts, i'll have to wake up really early (i have to wake up at 6 in the morning to get ready and ride the subway)!. if my school schedule gets into my sleeping time, will it stunt my growth!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

when you sleep your spine relaxes and all the tension is taken off it, therefore, when you wake up you're about half an inch taller, if at all!. Throughout the day the tension and weight is put on your spine, compressing it once again!. It doesnt make you taller, or shorter!.!. it's just all your spine!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

NO, it does not, in fact sleeping for more than 8 hours a day is really unhealthy and will slow certain body functions like neurotransmitter production, digestion, etc!. And your memory will slow down due to the neurotransmitter deficiencies!.
It has been proven that sleeping less than 7 and more than 8 hours a night is really unhealthy!.

No!.!.!. I used to sleep like 12 hours before then I changed my sleep habits now I sleep 10 hours and like its going to be about 8 hrs of sleep!.!.!.
But anyways no it doesn't because I grew through the school year by going to bed at 9 waking up at 6, and then in summer as I mentioned earlier I slept like 12 hours I still grew!.!.!. calm downWww@Answer-Health@Com

sleeping has nothing to do with how tall you are!. why in the world would you believe that it did!?!? it depends on your dna makeup and your family!. are they fairly tall, short or middle height!? i sure hope your learn something is school!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
