Body weight exercises, to the best of my knowledge, are completely safe for anyone of any age, no matter how much you do them!. Because you are 13, you may or may not be able to get a full 6-pack, but that is just a matter of time and hormones!.

The quickest way to build muscle is to completely wear your muscles out!. Start doing full sit-ups until your abs are completely unable to continue, then go down to crunches until you are totally worn out!. As you get stronger, increase the number of repetitions you do!. To get your lower abs, put your hands under your butt and do leg-lifts!.

If you keep at it and really push your body, you will tighten up your core in no time!
