Answers:
first of all, yay for you! i think that is so great that you are trying to get healthy! you should probably try for more like 35 pounds by then because 40-45 is not very likely to happen by your deadline!. just focus on trying to lose around 1-2 pounds a week because your not likely to lose more than that in a healthy way!. you should try to drink only water and nonfat or low fat milk because juice and sodas are high in calories but if you want more flavor then that low calorie ice tea mix is a good choice, or also flavored water is good too!. make sure you eat a balanced diet consisting of lots of fruits and veggies, whole grains, lean proteins(chicken, turkey, etc!. less red meat if possible)!. buy whole grain bread instead of white bread because it will make a big difference!. make sure you avoid saturated and trans fats as much as possible! try to cut down sugar as much as possible except for the good kind found in fruit!. you should eat about every 3-4 hours and eat 4-5 small meals a day to keep your metabolism going!. as for exercise, start off slowly and make sure you get at least 30 mins!. i like to run in the morning because its not as hot and it also boosts your metabolism for the rest of the day but it doesnt really matter as long as youre getting exercise!. as you start losing weight gradually reduce the amount you and increase your exercise!. good luck! and once again way to go for trying to get healthy! =]Www@Answer-Health@Com

You shouldn't worry!.!.!.just do as the doctor said!. Try cutting out unhealthy junk foods such as chips, ice cream, etc!. Instead of eating ice cream with a brownie, hot fudge, and whip cream on top for desert, eat a small bowl of fat free ice cream with fruit on top!. For a snack have some Yoplait yogurt instead of Pringles!. If you ever have any extra time, go to the gym with a friend!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It doesn't matter when you run, just that you do it! Try to at least get some exercise in most days a week, and you should see some progress!. Also, as far as eating, just don't eat junk food, and make sure to get lots of fruits and veggies! You should be loosing weight in no time flat! Www@Answer-Health@Com

As long as your eating enough to not feel drowsy or sick all the time it should be plenty healthy!. Just make sure you take vitamins and get plenty of protein!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're serious about losing weight you MUST try Acai Berry! I first heard about on Oprah, and I ordered a 14-day FREE trial from this site!. I've already lost some weight and I've got tons more energy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

There are two keys two your success!.!.!.

1!. A normal exercise regiment!.
Do your cardio in the morning on an empty stomach (water only) as this will force your body to pull from your fat stores for energy!. You will normally use your glycogen stores but these will become depleted overnight!.

Get into a resistance training program as the more muscle mass that you build, the higher your metabolism will be!. This is due to your body having to feed the new muscle mass!.

2!. Monitor you diet very closely - this will make or break your efforts!.
Eat 4-6 equally spaced meals/ snacks throughout the day!. Taper your carb such that your last meal contains only fiberous carbs (no complex or natural) unless this is post workout!.

Keep your water intake up to at least 3/4 gal per day and aim for 1 gal per day!.

Try to keep your carb sources to complex or natural sources!.

Your staple foods should include:
-- Oatmeal; not the instant type!. This food has the right ratio of protein, fat, and complex carbs and is on just about all bodybuilder's menus!.
-- Yams and sweet potatoes
-- Potatoes (red and white)
-- Brown Rice
-- 100% whole wheat and whole grain products; The label must have "100% whole wheat" or "100% whole grain" as the first ingredient!.
-- Green fiberous vegetables
-- Fresh fruit
-- Skim milk and non-fat dairy products
-- Chicken/ turkey breast (not lunch meat)
-- Egg whites
-- Fish and shellfish; Good source for protein as well as omega-3 essential fatty acids!.
-- Lean red meat; Watch the cut as a 6oz lean, trimmed top round steak has ~9g of fat whereas a 6oz untrimmed porterhouse has ~37g of fat!.

Hey good for you realizing its time to get healthy! Running is an excellent choice!. I prefer to run 30 Min's after i wake up that way I'm not tired!. But when you run in the morning you have nothing in your stomach so it makes it easier and it gets your metabolism going so it keeps every thing going and food goes right threw you!. Also crunches, squats, push ups (if you can do them cause i can barely lol) and other activates!. Sounds like you and your mom are on the right track!. Keep it up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok, it is perfectly healthy if you lose it the right way!. Stop eating 3 big, filling meals a day and start eating 6 very small meals a day!. These meals shouldn't even be "meals" I snack through out the day ,but I snack on things like carrots, apples ocationaly granola bars (not the chocolate kind, the plain granola), salads (just dip your fork in the dressing, don't pore the dressing on the salad) ect!. You can lose weight by just cutting out soda (like 10-30 pounds)!. Oh, and you should do lots of cardio work outs, this helps burn calories, resulting in fat loss!. Do things like jump roping, running, jogging, dance, and anything else that helps jump start your heart!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

try and eat the same thing everyday for breakfast and lunch!. as boring as it may sound!.!.!. its better for your body and metabolism to get use to!. when i am losing weight i always eat a serving of oatmeal for breakfast and lunch with a little cinnamon, a green apple, and a small handful of almonds for protein!. this sustains your appetite and keeps you full until your next meal!. for dinner it's just about portion size and having protein!.

it doesn't really matter when you run, it's all about motivation!. if you feel motivated to run in the morning then go then and kick-start your metabolism for the day!. if you have access to a gym that would be a great way to get in shape by using the elliptical because it is a non-impact form of exercise!. if you cannot go to the gym, running will do just fine!. make sure you have a good pair of running shoes though or you will hurt yourself!.

finally, try lifting weights and doing push-ups and sit-ups to build more muscle!. the more muscle you have the more calories you burn while being sedentary!.

good luck! and don't give up in you reach a plateau, keep persisting!
