Good Calf Stretches?!
Question: Good Calf Stretches!?
I've recently been exercising a lot more; running more than a mile a day, about ten minutes worth of jumping jacks, etc!. My calfs, however, are always stiff and make it a little sore to walk!. The stretches I do never seem to work that well!. I need some calf stretches to do before my workout, and after to keep them limber!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Answers:
1) assume the press up position
2) cross on leg over the other (only one foot will really be on the floor!)
3) keeping feet still, 'walk' your hands backwards towards your feet
4) keep going until you can really feel the stretch
5) hold for a minimum of 15-20 seconds
6) swap leg
*remember to never stretch cold muscles or 'bounce' a stretch Www@Answer-Health@Com
