If I had 3-5% body fat (or lower) would my abs show through better than they do !


Question: If I had 3-5% body fat (or lower) would my abs show through better than they do now!?
At the moment my body fat is about 10%!. I have been doing crunches for a month and my abs are noticeable but not 'look twice stuff'!. Would a lower body fat make them more noticeable!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

that's unhealthy to have that little fat!. Try working out more to gain more muscle or eat more protein rich food to help you out like lean meats (grilled or baked fish, chicken, turkey), skim milk, whey or soy protein powder, muscle milk, protein bars!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay your body fat is not 10% because of crunches!. Crunches don't burn body fat!.

10% is the level where you expect to start seeing ab definition!.

3-5% is extremely low!. You're looking at the level of pro bodybuilders at contest level!. Bare in mind that they only maintain that level for a very short time!. Also understand that they get that level of bodyfat using steroids and other drugs!.

The reality is that getting to 5% is extremely tough, staying there is that much more tough!.

I've been at 5% but I was only there for about a month and I've never felt worse!. These days I float around 10-12% but I'm a powerlifter so that's pretty low!.

Shoot for about 8% and the definition will be pretty good!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yeah, and uhhh tips!.!.!.don't do something alot of one thing, like crunches!.!.!.!.alternate, and find new exercises!.!.!.

especially the lower ones are very hard!.!.!.

i have a 6-pack right now!.!.!.and i still can't get the 8th pair to show very well!.!.!.

i think it's mostly your diet!.!.!.then your exercises, i was taught to do alot of leglifts!.!.!.or anything that works the upper part of your thighs and lower part of the abs!. hoped i helped!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

nope, 10% is preeeeetty good!. You should try to mix up your ab routine!. Excercise the entire abdominals (obliques, lower, etc)!. Stay at 10% because 3-5% is a little unhealthy for someone who's not a super athelete!Www@Answer-Health@Com

That's too low body fat to maintain regardless of whether your abs are more defined or not!. You can't let vanity come between you and your healthy!.

Don't go below 6%-10% in any event!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yea lower bf would make them moe noticible, but any bf% below 4% will make u extremly sick and is deadly!. the body needs some fat to survive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
