Why is it that we gain weight so quickly but losing weight takes more time?!


Question: Why is it that we gain weight so quickly but losing weight takes more time!?
For example one week I'll eat so healthy and do cardio 7 days and only lose 1-2 pounds, but then if I take a day to indulge is some junk food I'll gain a pound the next day!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

The famine response!. You're body gets fewer calories and releases hormones designed to store as much fat as possible!. When you eat the junk food, the body converts more calories to fat for the next time you deprive it of calories!. It's terrible for losing weight, but it is a survival mechanism for when we wandered the plains and could go for long periods without food!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know what you mean!.!.that is why you can't think of diets you have to make lifestyle changes so you make healthier choices and the weight stays off!. believe me i know it's easier said then done!. start slow it helps make changes last then to jump into a totally different food choicesWww@Answer-Health@Com

That's just your metabolism, not everyone's is the same and I have the opposite problem!. People forget being underweight is also unhealthyWww@Answer-Health@Com
