Question: Postworkout carb!.!. need help within the next hour!?
Ok I'm depending on an answer for when I get back from doing my workout!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. please!.!.!.!.

ok!.!.!.!. whats a good post workout carb source!?

I'm thinking either

2 whole wheat pita breads( 31 carbs) ,
banana(31 carbs),
a green apple (22 carbs)
blueberries ( like 30 carbs)
2 no sugar oatmeals(38 carbs)!?

what do you think!?

or do you have any other reccomendations!.!.!.!.

Im taking this alone with a protein shake

You want to take in a simple carbohydrate after your workout in conjunction with your protein shake!. The reason for the simple sugar is that it is more quickly digested and absorbed than complex carbohydrates!. This will help produce a rapid insulen spike that is used to transport nutrients and glucose out of the bloodstream and into the muscle/kidneys!. It will help transport glycogen into the muscle cells faster and help facillitate recovery!.

This has been scientifically studied(check pubmed, I did a research paper last semester on this) to increase protein synthesis to a larger amount within the first hour postworkout!.
