How can i lose 80 lbs. fast?!


Question: How can i lose 80 lbs!. fast!?
I use to be petite but in the last three years i gained over 60 lbs!. Ive tried calorie counting, dieting, and exercise and its just not helping!. I know starving isn't the answer but it use to work for me in the past and i don't want to go that way cause its not healthy!.Please HELP!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Basically you can't, at least not if you want to do it healthily and want to keep it off once you get there!.
They say that on average you should aim to lose between 2-5 lbs a week, in which case you'll be at this for 16-40 weeks!. I know that seems like a ridiculously long time, but considering that it took you over 3 years to become 80 lbs heavier than you want to be, you can't expect to be able to lose the weight in a few weeks (btw, if you used to be petite and you've gained 60 lbs over the past 3 years, why do you want to lose 80 lbs!? If you were already petite to start with isn't losing an additional 20 lbs unnecessary!?) Not that it's any of my business, but I was just wondering!.!.!.) !.

If you find that task of losing 80 lbs over 16-40 weeks too daunting you could try breaking it down in smaller bits!. For instance when I started on my weight-loss program I went to talk to my GP and he advised me to start with losing 10% of my current weight at first!. So say you weigh 180 lbs, then your initial goal could be to lose 18 lbs in 6 weeks!. You will then weigh 162 lbs and will only have 62 lbs to go, you will have almost lost 1/4 of you end goal!. At that point you can decide to go for an additional 10% over a relativily short period, or you can go for the whole 62 lbs over a longer period!.
I know this sounds stupid, but for some people the idea of having to lose 80 lbs over 16-40 weeks is just too much to comprehend, while losing 18 lbs over 6 weeks sounds pretty doable by comparison!.

You basically need to cut out the following:
sugar, processed foods, soda's (also the diet kinds), take away, ready made microwave meals, snacks, sweets, cookies, cakes, etc!. You also should watch your salt intake!. Cheeses can be high in fat and salt, so if you eat a lot of cheese, limit yourself to 2/3 days a week!.
You also want to be careful of refined products(white bread, pasta, rice)!. Substitute white bread for wholewheat/brown bread, and if you can, do the same for pasta!. I personally do not like brown rice, but basmati is a good alternative to regular white rice!.
Do not skip meals, eat 6 meals a day; 3 (smalish) main meals and 2-3 healthy and small snacks (yoghurt, fruit, a handful of nuts etc)!.
Eat lots of vegetables, stirfry or steamed is often the best!. If you eat meat, eat small portions of lean meats such as chicken, turkey and fish!.

Last, but not least, you need to exercise!. 80 lbs is a lot of extra weight to be carrying around, so build it up or you'll injure yourself in the long run!. Do something low impact like (power) walking, using a cross/elliptical trainer or a rowing machine or swimming!.

Well what worked best for me, was eating a lot healthier and working out!.

I now only eat about 1200 calories a day, really helps to write down what you will eat for the day so you know you won't go over, and make sure to include any beverages, most people forget about them!.

Then I work out about 5-6 days at the gym for anywhere from 30-60 minutes depending on what I have to do that day!. Cardio is a must, if you can use an elliptical those tend to burn the most calories!. I also do a lot of core and resistance work too!.

Also if you decide to try the old fashion way again, make sure you have a calorie deficit, so make sure you are burning more then you are in taking!. Mine currently is about 1000-1500 calories more that I burn each day!.

My results have been good so far, over 50 lbs in 5 months!.

You just need to stick with it, you don't see results right away, but if you stick with it, you should see results!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

all i could say is to make sure you don't eat what your body doesn't need!. eat 3 meals a day, trying to stick to the 5 a day routine and try to drink plenty of water!. normally most people put weight on from "snacking" between meals!. if you do feel the urge to snack, i would recommend a bowl of healthy cereal! its great for that little snack between meals!. Now that your eating well you can focus on exercise!. Many people have trouble fitting this around their day, however if you manage to get at least 1 hour of exercise a day, this could be a jog round your local park it doesn't really matter as long as your exercising!. keep this up and monitor your weight, you should lose weight gradually!. hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Theres no way you can healthily lose 80 pounds fast!.
Im in Australia so I use Kilograms instead of Pounds so i dont know exactly how much 80 pounds is!.

What do you call FAST!? I lost 85 pounds six years ago on Weight Watchers!. It's a great program but it took me a little over a year!.

On the page below, you'll see a section called "Eat Healthy!." It explains how you should eat as far as food groups and recommended servings!. The weight will come off and stay off if you eat this way, because it's "healthy eating" and not a diet!.

On the same website, you'll see a section called "Diet Plans!." This contains about 4-5 "drastic diets" designed for short-term rapid weight loss!. I've tried them all but 5-4-3-2-1 is my favorite!. You choose the food and it needs to be healthy to keep your metabolism strong!.

You'll want to exercise 30-60 minutes every day!. More is better for weight loss!.

Drink plenty of water!. Save sodas and sweet drinks for special occasions!.

Not only is starving yourself not good, it doesn't work!. When you starve yourself, you slow down your metabolism and your body begins to think it needs to preserve energy!. So, when you finally do eat, you will gain all of that weight back!.
The best thing to do, is to exercise (cardio and weight training) and eat healthy things (fruits, vegetables, and lean meat (like chicken or turkey)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

honestly tho, i know its probably not what you wanna hear!.!.!.but there is no way to lose that amount of weight 'fast'!. starving works for a while, but it kills your metabolism in the long run!.

if you want, you could start a juice fast for 3-5 days to jump start a diet, then continue on with a diet/exercise routine!.

the result might not be as instantaneous, but in the long run, you'll look good and feel good :D Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, in l992 my husband and I made the decision to loose weight!. We both lost 50 lbs in 3 1/2 months!. We did this by going LOW FAT!.!.!.and lots of exercise!.!.!.we worked on it daily!.!.!.and made ourselves exercise!.!.!.LOL!.!.!.!.I put a calendar on my fridge and wrote my time and what exercise I did daily!. It made me confront the issue!. It worked for me!. We ate 3 meals a day and dessert everynight!.!.!.!.!.all low fat!.!.!.and LOTS of exercise (usually 5-10 miles a day of bike riding)!.!.!.!.!.!.You just have to make up your mind!.!.!.and know that it is not going to happen overnight!.!.!.!.!.work on it every day!. We gave ourselves one meal out every Friday night!. Boy, did we look forward to that!. Ours was Mexican Food!. And, guess what!?
