How long will it take??!!?

i want to lose weight for this special girl that is out of my league but i can't stop thinking about her, how long do you think it generally takes to lose quite a bit of body fat, because i believe that is the problem??? also any ideas on ways to lose the weight because i am serious about finding this girl with my new look and trying to sweep her off her feet, shes worth it !!! THANKS
