Is it okay to lose 10 lbs a month?!


Question: Is it okay to lose 10 lbs a month!?
I'm 14 years old and currently weight 162 lbs at 5'5 which isn't obese(yet) but i am overweight!. And I'm going on a diet for 5 months and planning on losing 40-50 lbs!. Does that sounds healthy!? I don't want to do something if its bad for me!. and I am going to be eating just cutting my calories down to 1400 a day and walking 1 mile a day!. What do you think!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

As long as you do it the right way it shouldn't be a problem!. I myself eat about 1200 calories a day and work out 30-60 minutes 6 times a week and have lost 50 in 5 months!.

My trainer is happy with the results I have had, so as long as you do it correctly and don't do anything to harm your body, you should be fine!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well everyone is different!. a healthy percentage is 10% of your body weight!. Just letting you know since you are a female and you want to lose 30% of your weight make sure you take CALCIUM!. when females lose weight there bones become low in density!. You should check with a doctor to see how many calories you burn a day!. im 5' 11" and 180 pounds and burn 2000 calories a day!. if you eat less than you burn you will lose weight!. every 3600 calories you lose 1 pound, i wish you luck and all the best!. just remember not to go crazy on your diet!.(Your body will stop fat from burning because it thinks your starving)!.
