My Mom wants to try it, but how do u do phase 2 and 3.

Basically, the main focus is on lean protein and vegetables. You're allowed dairy - but it has to be fat free or lowfat. Fruit in limited quantities
(preferably no juice, and nothing sugary like raisins, bananas, pineapple or watermelon - except once in a great while) and any carbs you eat can not be refined - they want you have whole grains, and not many of them, at that. They'd rather you eat an orange than a cookie.
