Laxatives make you poop!. You can become dependent on them, and then they can be required to have a bowel movement!.If you want to loose weight get a little more exercise and watch your diet!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Laxatives work by stimulating your bowel!. There are these tiny sensor (like tiny fingers) like things in your colon that are stimulated when you need to go to the bathroom!. The laxative stimulates these little sensor things to make you go!. Using them once will not make you lose weight!. Long term use can cause you to lose all water weight but it is extremely harmful and can be very painful!. Laxatives can cause nausea, awful cramping, dehydration, anal bleeding!.!.!.!.and much more!. I would not suggest using them long term or to try and lose weight!. I have done it and did lose like 15lbs but that over a period of 2 months and it can become so painful at times and you are always running to the bathroom!. You are right they are bad for you!. Not only do they remove the fecal material but they also remove electrolytes, bacteria which you need, etc!.
