Weight loss advice????!


Question: Weight loss advice!?!?!?!?
hi im 21 male 5ft10 weigh 15 stone quite overweight ect!.
well basically im a little worried about my weight and have totally cut chocolate chrisps ,sugar fried food out of my luxury list
im just eating fresh salads fish chicken ect at the moment
i bought a tredmill last week but im really struggling on it
well basically all i can run is a mile and then im totally tired i cant even do anymore
it takes me 10mins to complete the mile and i have to do 1 min period of walking during that 10mins so really i only end up running for 5 mins
hope that made sense lol
anyways is this too low or should i physically be doing more than a ,mile!?
any advice would be great

Answers:
You are right to cut out fried food and chocolate, crisps, cakes etc!. These foods have very little if any nutritional content!. You need to eat lean protein (chicken, fish, egg), complex carbohydates (vegetables, fruit, brown rice, brown pasta, brown bread) and little bit of fat (milk, yoghurt, cheese)!.

Don't fry any food, grill, boil, bake etc and watch the salad dressings or sauces you use (some have a very high calorie and fat/sugar content)

Try to drink 2 litres of water per day, cut out coffee if possible or limit your intake!. Cut out/reduce your salt intake!.

The exercise you are doing is fine but you will have to do weights too(make sure you have excellent posture and technique or you WILL injure yourself lifting weights)!. Sip water throughout your exercise program!.

Diet is 80% and exercise is 20% (approx) but most people forget this!.
Don't be too strict with yourself everyday is new day, if you lapse, don't give up just start again tomorrow!.

Oh, I nearly forgot!.!.remember to eat after exercise (a yoghurt, peice of fruit, bread etc) to replenish energy and maintain a regular blood sugar level!.

It sounds like your doing too much exercise, if you've never exercised before you should start with walking and build up to the uphill!. Try some other exercise like pilates it's more gentle and tones the body, you could alternate this with the walking!. As for the diet join a club or follow a diet plan, dont cut carbs as this causes all sorts of health problems including bad breath, constipation etcWww@Answer-Health@Com

I think you're making a good start!.

Its not too easy since you're exhausted afterwards, but its not too hard that you can't do it!.

My advice is to just try to up either the intensity or distance every week!.
For example, next week try 2 miles, or a higher level for 1 mile!.
The point is to force yourself to keep making progress!.
