Question: I need help losing weight!? Thanks!?
Okay, I am 13 and I want to lose 16 pounds before school starts (in about 2 weeks) First is it possible to at least lose 6 to 10 pounds before school starts!? And second how do I do it!? Please don't say the 1 lb per week thing and don't be really general like eat right and exercise daily!. Give me a schedule or something tell me which sites worked for you (nothing I would have to buy please) and something easy to stick to thanks!.
Oh and please don't give me a lecture on how I shouldn't worry about these kinds of things thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are 13!. Are you sure you even need to lose weight!?

My best advice to you is eating small meals every 3-4 hours and making sure you exercise at least 30 minutes everyday!.

Some meals to consider:

Breakfast (around 8 AM) - 1/2 cup oats cooked in 1/2 milk and 1/2 water and 1 tsp of brown sugar (you can also add 5-10 nuts or a smaill handful of raisons into your oatmeal) with 1 banana and a glass of water!.

Snack (around 10:30 AM)- 1 green apple with 2 tbs of low-fat peanut butter!. 1 cup of skim milk!.

Lunch (around 1:00 PM)- 2 slices of whole wheat bread with 3 thin slices of low-fat cheese (any kind), 2 slices of low-fat turkey or chicken luncheon meat, lettuce, tomatoes, and 1 tsp of mayonaise (sandwhich), and then 1 low-fat vanilla yogurt (1/2 cup approximately)!. 1 glass of water!.

Snack 2 (around 3:30 PM) - 1 cup of apple sauce with a pinch of cinnamon sugar and 1 glass of water!.

Dinner (around 6:30 PM) - 2 cups salad (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, corn, peas, and whatever vegetables you like in a salad), 2 tbs of a low-fat dressing (e!.g!. light italian), 1 cup of speghetti with tomato sauce, 1 glass of water!.

Dessert (around 7:30 PM) - 1 cup of low-fat frozen yogurt (by chapman's or whoever and whatever flavour) with half a chopped banana and 7 walnuts with 1 tbl maple syrup!. 1 glass of water!.

The ides is to fill up on fruits and vegetables, eat more of your carbohydrates (breads, pastas, cereals, ect!.) earlier in the day and strive for whole-grain carbohydrates (this means choose whole wheat over anything that is refined)!. Also aim for low-fat dairy products and lean meats!.

For exercise, get up 20 minutes earlier than usual, go for a 15 minute run/fast-paced walk, and then, after school, go for another 15-20 minute fast-paced/jog/run!. Or you can do the full 30 minutes if you can most days of the week!. Exercise AT LEAST 3 times a week (this means cardio for 20-30 minutes and some strength training for 10-15 minutes and of course stretching for 5 minutes)

Strength training could be as simple as 20-30 push ups (you can do 10, stop, do 10 more, stop, and then do 10 more), 30 crunches, 30 bicycle crunches (matching opposite elbow to knee), and then bring your legs up straight (while on your back) and lower them until the are around 4 inches off the floor and hold for 60 seconds!. Finish off with the plank for 60 seconds (push up position except with bent elbows and crunching abdominals)!. If you do this 3 times a week either before going to bed or right when you get up in the morning, you will definitely start to tone up, assuming that you are also doing cardio at least 3-4 times a week!.

First of all i would suggest to cut down on fatty foods and trying to reduce the calories you consume every day!.!.!. BUT that does not mean that you should drastically reduce the food you consume every day!. BTW its okay to eat something "unhealthy" once in a while!.

Secondly do a lot of cardio!. I know it might be annoying to some, but running is a great way to lose weight!. It's not just running tho, you can also play other sports like soccer, basketball, etc!. However, I suggest jump roping!. It's a full body workout and i believe the best way to burn calories!.

Finally do simple exercises, such as pushups, situps, crunches, etc!.
Every pushup, for example, burns 2!.1 calories!. Just do 100 of them and you already burn 210!.

I cut out all sugar and sugary fruits and snacks!. I also cut down on breads and greasy snacks!. I ate salads, nuts, peanut butter on celery, low-fat or part skim cheese alone or on celery, turkey or ham rolled in lettuce for lunch, No-Fat milk, and some low-sugar yogart!. (This follows the 1st phase of the South Beach Diet on which you can loose fast in 2 wks)!.

Of course you have to exercise and do some tummy exercise!.

i know how u feel but diets dont work !.!.!.i was struggeling since the last 10 years to lose 1lbs !.!.!. i was desperate and gave up hope!.!.!.!. i was dieting excersicing nothing worked!.!.!.

if u want to prepare the green tea u have to make it right to get all the benefits!.!.!.
bring water to boil !.!.!.!. and leave it to cool down for 3 min ( very important ) then pour the water into tea kettle with1 table spoon of green tea leafs !.!.!. let it rest "atleast" 5min covered!.!.!. ( i leave it until cooled down because i like it cold and very concentrated)!.!.!.!. i add fresh pressed lemon juice to it!.!.!.!. its refreshing!.!.!.

I no whats its like to want to lose weight before going back to school!. I wanted to do the exact same thing!! I'm not lecturing you darling but please don't damage your health trying to lose the weight before school, u can faint, lose your hair and all sorts! Ive lost weight very quickly but it just comes back on! Body imagine is very important at your age, so ur not gona take no notice of people telling u not to worry about it, but don't stress about it too much!. I would love to say to you that u shouldn't be finking about this, but unfortunately you still will regardless of what any1 says!. !.Alittle tip tho!. !. u'l never look like those models in magazines because they are air brushed!! I wish you every success in wowing every one when you go back to school - a new hair style always makes u feel fab!. I hope someone can give you good and safe advise xx
