Tips on sticking to and being motivated on a diet?!

Question: Tips on sticking to and being motivated on a diet!?
I really need to change my diet!. I've been trying to lose weight, and I've lost about 15 pounds by exercising!. I opted for exercising because I am soooooo weak when it comes to junk food!. I love ice cream and potato chips- and I tend to eat the whole tub and bag!. Now that I've lost some weight and I'm exercising, I need to work on the diet, but it's going to be very difficult for me!. What are some tips you have on achieving a healthy diet and staying motivated!?

One thing I'm going to do is have my husband be a regulator, and not allow me to buy chips and ice cream unless they are small snack size and then only maybe once a week (to start with anyway)!. What else can I do!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Try substituting good snacks for bad ones!. Instead of ice cream try frozen yogurt or sorbet, try baked veggie sticks(which are so delicious) instead of potato chip etc etc!. you don't have to go without if you really think about better options when at the supermarket and most important of all eat with ((moderation))!.
And one of the best motivators I can suggest though is take a picture of yourself in your underwear or bathing suit and put it on your fridge door or cabinet which hold those dastardly snacks ;) I guarantee this one works, it is a great Motivator to stay on track cause sooner or later your gonna love replacing your new hottie pictures in place of your before ones ;)

Losing weight is so much more than just a diet or an exercise!. I bet you are starting to realize that now!. The link below is an interesting article!.

I am happy for your success and wish you more luck and good tidings!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you have to want to lose weight or at least not gain weight more than you want more of some foods!.
i think the overeating of the junkfood is psychological!. if it's put off limits then it just increases craving for it!.
i eat anything i want!. nothing is off limits!. since i put nothing off limits i frequently no longer even care about the food and if i do i remember that the bite or small portion i am having tastes exactly the same as more of it!.
if that doesn't work for a person ,they can do aversion imagination!.
the reason a person wants a food is because they have a mental image of how good it tastes!. if they have a dislike of a certain food then they should imagine it being mixed in with the food they desire and think about it til it turns them off of wanting it!. also, can push it further by mentally adding bug parts and other disgusting things to the food!.
the mind doesn't know the difference between what is imagined and what is really when it comes to a mentally triggered response!.
most of all you just have to want to be lose or not gain weight more than you want to eat more!.
also, water is a great appetite surpressant!. i sip over a gallon of ice water a day!. i don't eat much for my size and the water keep me from feeling hungry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

First of all, congrats on your weight loss!. The page below is called "Motivation for Weight Loss!." You'll find several pages about motivation on the site!. In addition, you'll find 5-6 pages of weight loss tips, along with printable food and exercise logs, healthy recipes, diet plans, and a great section called "Eat Healthy!."

Please don't set your husband up as the "food police!." It's a terrible position to put him in and takes the control away from you!. If you can't give up your chips and ice cream for awhile, then have them infrequently and in small amounts or find healthier versions such as Baked Lays and Skinny Cow!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
