Question: Help me!I need to loose weight!!?
I am 12 years old and 5 foot,i weigh 150 pounds (yes i know this is overweight!)Please give me some ideas to loose weight!.

oh hun dont be harsh on yourself its okay sometimes we just let our bodies go!. especially over summer time i gained like 10 pounds!. just try and get your full hour of exercise in each day maybe just do something fun with friends, a walk to the park, a bike ride, ooh swimming! watch what you eat and drink!. if you cut out pop and high sugary drinks you're sured to notice a difference and save an extra 150-200 calories a day!. choose water instead!. just watch yourself and try to not eat unless your really hungry!. wear black and slimming clothes it will make you look like you lost ten pounds and wear jeans that actually fit and arent loose!.

You should definitely go run for a bit!.
If you have some cardio equipment available, try using it and getting your heart rate above 160 for about 10 minutes, then take a cool off time for 5, then repeat!.
Each week, add another rep!.
Do about 50 crunches, 50 sit-ups, and then flip over onto your tummy, get into push up position, but on your forearms, and hold that position for 30 seconds while tightening your abs as hard as you can!.
Relax, and each week add a rep!.

As you probably know, what you eat is a huge factor as well!.
For breakfast, have a piece of fruit or a slice of wheat bread with peanut butter (thinly spread!.)
For a mid morning snack, try a granola bar, a 100 calorie pack, a nutri-grain bar, or anything snacky under 100 calories!.
For lunch, eat a sandwich with wheat bread, low fat cheese, and any dressing you use should be low in fat!. The lunch meat is up to you, because all meats are good for you!.
Mid-afternoon snacks are fun!. You can make fruit salad, or have jello if you're in a hurry, or even try some new things that your parents may have in mind!.
For dinner, talk to your parents about cooking healthy choices instead of greasy fried meals!.

A main aspect to your personal problem is that you really need to talk to your parents about this!. You can't leave them in the dark when you're doing something GOOD! :] So keep up the hard work, and everytime you feel like eating junk, just remember your goals and health!.

I used to be the same way!.

This is what I would do:
-every Sunday I would measure how many inches around my waist/stomach/hips, and mark it down on a calandar(that I hid, lol)
-You HAVE to be commited! I stopped eating sweets altogehter for a few months, and i woul do around 50situps after every meal!.
-Every night before bed I would work out (i!.e!. stretches, situps, pushups, lunges, squats, and many more; just do reasearch, and find what you want to do to tone up what parts of the body you want)!. And when I say I worked out, I MEAN worked out! Sure it might hurt, but once you see the results, the pain will be what drives you!. There were many times when I wasn't able to walk/sit/any thing else for days because I worked myself so hard!. Jus whatever you do, do not ever think of becoming anorexic/bulemic!. It's just not worth it!.
-Drank a lot of water

Once you see the progress you're making after the first few weeks it'll be what you need to encourage you to want to do more, and keep going!. Trust me, it takes awhile, but it was definitely worth it! I lost 10inces off of my wait in the span of 8months probably!. I hear jumproping's good too!.

well i get up every morning before school and run every weekday!.!.!.try doing that!.!.maybe starting off easy and then as you get fitter run longer and longer distances!. and if you have the money, a personal trainers always good!. and maybe join a team sport or something, or swim!.!.something for after school a couple of days a week
