Question: Workout routine!? also is it possible to lose 4lbs a week!? !?
my workout routine is boring!.!. any ideas for the gym or home, for about 1!.5 hours a day!?

try 50-75 jumping jacks, 10-15 push ups, 20-30 sit ups, 75-100 arm circles per movement(like going backwards or going forwards motion)(put your arms up in the air[next to you, not in front of you] and move them in smallish circle motions!. try 20-30 knee kicks on each leg(go on hands and knees, put one knee in the air beside your body and try to keep your knee highest up in the air and swing it back and forth[90 degree angle]), 30 calf-strengthenings(stand up and stand on your tippy-toes for a second and then put your heals down, then do it again)(and also try and add 10 everyday, like 30 a day, 40 a day, 50 a day!.!. & so on), 20 floor bicycles(lay on your back and touch your left elbow with your right knee, your left knee with your right elblow, and do it fast and move your knees and arms all the way, and this exersice is sopposed to look almost like a biclycle exercise), and this is all i can think of for now so hope i helped! oh and also dont forget to not eat more than 1500 cals a day, and drink 7-8 glasses of water!! and 4 lbs a week sounds possible, but you have to be really strict about it if you want to lose 4 lbs a weekWww@Answer-Health@Com

Without knowing your goals it's hard to say what to do!. Assuming you are asking if it is possible to lose 4 lbs I will give you a mostly cardio routine!.

Always start out with some light stretching and warming up whether its jumping jacks or shaking loose!.

Monday: Warmup with jump roping, 10 pushups, 10 situps, and some walking!. Then run - - at first you can start with less than 1 mile depending on your fitness level but mix in walking with running to where your workout is atleast 30min!. Then work it up little by little till you are running the whole 30min which should be about 3mi!.

Tuesday: weight lifting -- do light weight many reps!.!.!. 3 sets of 15!. Arms: look up exercises for biceps, triceps, deltoids, shoulder

Wednesday: (If you can find a pool, swim for 30min) First do 30min!. on a stationary bike!.

Thursday: weight lifting -- do light weights many reps 3 sets of 15, workout back and core: look up online for types of exercises to do!. (sit ups, leg lefts, lower back workout, lats, lower back, row)

Friday: weight lfiting -- do lgiht weights many reps 3 sets of 15, legs: look up online for types of exerises (squats, leg extensions and curls, lunges, calf raises)

Rest Sat and Sunday!.


At first you may be able to lose 4 lbs in 1 week, but it wil be water weight, and some fat, etc!. After a week or two, you will hit a plateu and will only be able to healthily lose 1 or 2 lbs!. per week!. The key is eating healthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

since college is starting, and i don't have a job, i can devote nearly my entire day to working out, and this is what i do!.!. i think its fun:
every morning:
at 5 am: 500 stummy crunches
at 7am: I walk for 1/2 hour at a park
pilates until breakfast
at 8 am: breakfast
noon: 500 stummy crunches
then i choose an after noon activity, which include but are not limited to: swimming, biking, volleyball, tennis, raquetball, skiing, wake boarding, etc
on mondays, weds, and fri:
starting at 6:30
wall, jog, run for up to 2 hrs, but never less than 20 minutes
500 stummy crunches
10 push ups
20 leg lifts
pilates
and then i dance around in my underwear for a while until i get tired lol

on tues and thurs:
starting at 6:30:
walk/jog run for at least 20 minutes, no more than 2 hours
20 minutes lateral jogging
500 stummy crunches
"swim" while watching colbert report ("swim" is something i used to do as a warm up in basketball- you lay on your belly, raise your arms and legs, and move 'em up and down really fast!. makes your bum firm)
and do some yoga before bed time

i think my routine is fun!!! i think its possible to loose 4 lbs in a week!.!. i lost 2 pounds today! but i think its 'cause i haven't eaten anything yet lolWww@Answer-Health@Com
