I am on the program now--this is the beginning of my 3rd week!. I have about 25-30 pounds to lose, so my situation is different from yours, and I am probably a bit older than you, too!.

So I don't know how quickly you would see results for a "few quick pounds"!.

I don't have an accurate scale, so I am not tracking pounds day to day really closely--I am going more on measurements, how my clothes fit, etc!. I think I have probably lost 1/2"-1" in the bust, waist, & hips!. My clothes & bras don't feel as tight, and I feel better!.

It does seem a bit pricey if you were eating at home on a tight budget!. But if you were eating out often, you are probably spending more than $10/day on food already--you just weren't paying for it all at once like that so you probably didn't realize it!. The most expensive thing is buying bottled water (you have to drink 64 oz per day, and our tap water is undrinkable!.) I am planning to invest in a tap filter as soon as possible to cut down some on this cost, but with gas so high it's not worth a special trip to WalMart! You are also supposed to supplement the packaged food with healthy produce, protein, and dairy selections!.

If you just need to lose a few quick pounds, and you aren't wanting to make drastic changes, why don't you just try drinking the extra water and really watch portion control--buy some diet entrees from the frozen food section at the supermarket and cut out all snacks, candy, sweetened soft drinks, etc!. I bet you can get the same results!.
However, if you really need the structure of limiting your food choices and portions, the diet seems to be effective!. The food doesn't taste great, but it is filling and I haven't been starving!. I think the biggest problem will be weaning myself off of it and learning how to eat healthy regular food without gaining the weight back!. It's also kind of hard to socialize with family and friends when food is involved!. The website is very good about listing common foods & their caloric values to help you track meals out, but it's still hard staying close to the recommended portions, etc!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I know a friend who did this and hated it!. She spent tons of money and ended up giving the food away!. She now works out and eats in moderation and has lost weight!. That is the key- EXERCISE and MODERATION when it comes to eating!. Seriously!. I workout 6 days a week, to maintain my weight, because I don't want to diet!. However when I had my 3rd child I needed to lose those extra pounds and all I did was start working out 3 days a week, and eating smaller amounts of food, more times a day-- like half the size of a regular meal, 5x a day so more like snacks!. Also eating before bed is a big factor in weight gain!. (Sometimes I do this though!!) But I know it is a bad habit I need to kick as well!. Exercise is always the best medicine to losing weight!. If it is a lot of weight, of course exercise and watching what you eat- choosing more healthy low fat foods over ones that are high in sugar, carbs and fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My grandmother tried it a few weeks ago and sent it all back!. She said the food was disgusting!. She couldn't stand to smell it, let alone eat it!. Now, my uncle actually went through with the whole program and lost some weight, but once he stopped eating the food, he gained it all back!. Not worth it in my opinion!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is very expensive, but if you follow it exactly it really works!. My mom lost a lot of weight on it!. Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com
