Is an hour of brisk walking everyday to much?!

Question: Is an hour of brisk walking everyday to much!?
I want to lose some weight and my goal is to go on the treadmill for an hour a day!. However, since I have started doing it I feel kind of worn out after about the third day!. Should I only do a half an hour a day!? I really want to see great results so I thought an hour a day would be the best!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try different workouts everyday!. For example, treadmill monday, elliptical machine tuesday, stair stepper wednesday, etc!. Keeping your workout varied will work a wider variety of muscles and help prevent your from plateauing (becoming adjusted to your workout so you don't burn as many calories)!. It will also keep you from getting tired and even bored!.

As far as time, maybe cut down to about 45 minutes, or go for two half an hour sessions at different times of the day!. As another answerer said, varying your intensity will help as well; try jogging (about 6 mph for me) for a short period of time, and then cut back to a brisk walk!. I would also recommend putting a good incline on the treadmill!. This will increase your calorie burn per time and also build your hamstrings and glutes!.

The main thing is to do what your body is currently capable of!. If you have just recently started working out, your body is probably not currently capable of doing that much!. However, you can build up to going for hours at a time, over a period of weeks or months!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

I don't think that an hour a day is too much, but it might be too much for you at your current fitness level!. That's probably why you are feeling worn out!.
Are you eating a healthy balanced diet!? Weight loss is a change of lifestyle, not just a short term thing!. Combining exercise with a healthy diet is so important - you will feel fantastic just from eating better!.

How far are you walking in that time (and are you walking flat or with elevations)!?

The best thing is to listen to your body - if you feel worn out, then its most likely that its not coping with this new regime!. Maybe rather cut down to an hour every alternate day so that your body has a chance to rest in between (rather than 30 minutes every day where there is no real chance to rest)!.

Personally, I do 20 minutes of running twice a week (4!.6km per session) and 20 minutes of cycling twice a week (8!.5km per session)!.
This is after building up fitness over time!.

do what you feel like doing, if your up for an hour, go for an hour! if your kinda tired, go for half an hour!.!.!.!.its important to eat least go for half an hour!.!.!.and i'd suggest doing that not everyday, but every other day!.!.!.like i workout on monday, wednesday, friday and sunday so that way i only have 1 day where i workout the day after i worked out!.!.!.bcuz your body needs to rest and get goin again so go for 3-4 days a week! you'll feel much better and still see results!.!.good luck! Change it up a bit!. Try an hour at a slower pace then the next day try 30-40 minutes at a moderate pace and on the 3 rd day do only 20minutes at a faster pace!.
By doing this you create muscle confusion and your body will not be able to create a set point for your metabolism!. You will be constantly stressing your body in different ways resulting in greater calorie burn!.

You should always work up to any exercise!. If you're worn out to the point you can't function then cut it back!. Otherwise you're pushing your body and you will get quicker results probably, so keep at it if you can!. But I'm sure 30 minutes would be almost as effective!. You're doing great!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Keep it up!. In time your body will adapt!. That's the whole point of exercise!.
